JoshWoodenSpoon roo2macca anyone catch Julia Holter live?

Saw her in Brisbane last night. Phenomenal performance.
I wishhhhhhhhh, she was playing round the corner from me but I gotta save $$. :( I saw Luluc the other night though so that was lovely.

I’m glad you got along and that it was grand!

Albeit for extremely sad reasons, I'm finding this to be the 2018 song I've been returning to the most recently:

Not sure how many are familiar The Ocean Party around here, but they've been pretty big in the indie scene, particularly Melbourne I believe, for a number of years. This track opened their album which came out in November last year, and was written by Zac Denton, who tragically passed away days before the album's release. He was in a number of other bands including Ciggie Witch and Hobby Farm (he was also frontman of both) and Cool Sounds and a few others I believe. After his passing, it really clicked how much Australian music I had listened to over the past few years which he had a hand in. Not sure if I'd call it my song of 2018, but would have to go damn close. Would have been my pick if that round had been now.
