Also, this is way more professh than the pub choir stuff I've seen before. I really should get to one - communal singing is perhaps the thing I miss most about being a Christian and going regularly to church. There's something VERY special about it.

I think that my song would've won anyway, as in a tie for first, it goes to a count back of how many 5s both songs got. But there were some very real indications that Pick's ability to count might have been overstated, so who really knows.

And "botes" is just Song Contest nerd slang for votes.
