Me and a mate drove from London to Edinburgh, left at about 6am and got there by around lunchtime, shows how small the UK is.

Did it every 2nd week for 18 months. Drive from Ipswich to Syd Friday midday. Get in about 10-11.
Drive Syd -Ipswich Sunday leaving midday. Work Monday.

Opposite weekends, GF would do same.
