I prefer Beth Orton's slow-drawled, sumptiously-produced original, but this remix is okay

Kavinsky - Nightcall (Dustin N'Guyen Remix)
This remix is basically a sped-up version of the rohypnol-laced original. Yep. Not bad.

Scandroid - Thriller (PYLOT Remix)
Pointless remix, almost the same as Scandroid's crappy cover version

Parliament - Flashlight (DJ Laid Bac Screwed Remix)
Terrible, it completely ruins an okay tune

Coffin Dance Meme (PedroDJDaddy Trap Remix)
It's all shit: remix & original. Why nom this crap?

Wild Cub's original song is pretty ****in awful. This remix at least makes it listenable.

Jon Spencer Blues Explosion - Greyhound (Remix, Pts. 1 & 2)
Nice. I like JSBE's dirty instrumental, but this remix kicks arse. I predict this will easily win the round

Take a crappy pop song we've all heard a million times and add a dance beat. GENIUS!

The Maccabees - Marks To Prove It (Public Service Broadcasting Remix)
I don't particularly like The Maccabees - their songs are always building, building, promising much, but ultimately delivering very little.

Flume attemtps to make a silk purse from a sow's anus. Nice try, but yeah….

Jesus… Didn't we all hear this enough back in 2010?
I love the ABC theme. I HATE Pendulum's maxed-out beats. Pure rubbish... (It'll probably podium…)

The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army (Glitch Mob Remix)
Why would anyone want to listen to this? Smoke another bowl, Glitch Mob, you oxygen thieves

Caribou - Melody Day (Four Tet Remix)
My nom. One of the only remixes on this playlist which creates something vastly different to the original and improves upon it.
Four Tet manages to find the good song which Caribou buried in their trippy mix

Adele - Rolling In The Deep (Jamie xx Shuffle)
It's an overplayed pop monster. This remix just makes it sound like shit. What's the point?

Metric - Monster Hospital (MSTRKRFT Remix)
I like the guitars on the original version, but this remix is just more generic synth pop crap

Interpol - Slow Hands (Britt Daniel Remix)
This sounds more like a remaster than a remix. I suppose it's heavier and more dancey

The Prodigy - Jericho (Genaside II Remix)
Very dated jungle remix of a Liam Howlett tune I never really liked much anyway. (Track 1 on that 1st album was like a room clearer before settling into the good stuff.) For once I'll agree with MWPP and call this "headache inducing"

Roy Orbison - Oh, Pretty Woman (Spankox Remix)
Meh… The Big O's classic hits are timeless. Giving it this remix treatment just makes it sound silly

Nuyorican Soul - I Am the Black Gold of the Sun (4hero remix)
Very nice chilled out drum 'n bass remix which improves on the original

Pearl Jam - Alive (The Hijack Brothers Remix)
This just sounds weird and silly. Pointless remix of an overrated Eddie Vedder dirge.

Toecutter - Best Party Ever (Bang Gang 12")
A slightly more spazzed out version of the spazzed out original. It's okay. Not my thing.

William Orbit - Barber's Adagio For Strings (Ferry Corsten Remix)
Yeah, good nomming, Captain Obvious.
Not a whole lot of remixing going on here. Basically turning up the volume on the bass and drum tracks

I don't get the hate for Die Antwoord Vs Enya. What do people dislike about it exactly? Ninja/Waddy is actually a pretty good rapper with nice flow. Are people just recoiling from his South African accent? Or is it the gross-out porno subject matter which offends the puritans? Pfft. I think it's funny. I think it's awesome and twisted to mix that with Enya. Do people prefer "deep and meaningful" preaching from Macklemore? Or do they prefer "hoes, bluntz and 9mm's" from Kendrick or whoever is the latest fad rapper from the US ?

By any objective measure, there were at least 20 songs which were worse than the Die Antwoord remix.

Yep those are definitely the subject matter of Kendrick Lamar who doesn't do drugs and has been with the same woman since high school.
