The thought has crossed my mind about setting up a movie contest but not sure watching 20 movies in two days is a reasonable ask for (most) people.
Doable if they’re 1890s or early 1900s movies

Most would be shorter than the average song ;)

What is wrong with you! This isn't the place for common sense.

True! I’d Billy the film that made me think I was going to be hit by a train.
Don't know that one. The first film that comes to mind from that era is the one the tells me Edison was a fraud.

Which one said that?!
Can I say? It was to do with the voltage wars between him and Tesla. It only goes for less then two minutes but it isn't pleasant. A google will take you to it. You have all been warned...

How a less than 2 minute "movie" is listed on IMDB I have no idea.

Ohhhhhh Electrocuting an Elephant? That one's probably getting the Billy, yeah.

Call me a Grinch but it's still too early to be celebrating Christmas, it's still early December.

Even back in November the shopping centres are wheeling out Christmas stuff with Santa.

It’s not Xmas until I see die hard on tv

My daughter has an app where you create a group with friends and can share your reviews of movies on it.

Can we open the presents early?

Wowee!
Number one of all time was by Joy Division if memory serves.
Worthy winner.

That was when people were allowed to vote for their favourite songs of all time rather than just the previous year like it became.

I didn't take nuch interest in the Hottest 100s for the first few years and now I am back to not taking any interest in them again.

That's the one, good pick up. If anyone wants to watch it the warning is in the "movies" name.

Yeah, Love Will Tear Us Apart was a winner until Smells Like Teen Spirit came along.

I like Joy Divisision but IMO they have far better songs then that. Atmosphere for one.

Also like me some New Order. Actually I was into them first and followed the trail back to get to Joy Division.

HOST UPDATE

With 12 of the 23 presents judged, it is all very close. One song has been added to 18 wishlists for the Christmas sales, while close behind is one on 16, but that second song was also put on the refund list by one person. That refund list has one song appear on it 5 times.

Keep your judgements coming!
