it looks like my song hasn't been included.

No I didn't, I wish I had, U2 always put on a good show though, they give bang for buck.
It was a good one. The opening act was Noel and his birds or something. At least he did Don't Look Back...

Sorry Plugger35, I was just trying to be consistent.

The list is now final. Voting is open from midnight.

I'm not all that bothered, it is consistent with Unlimited Address being overlooked.

This is the lead single off that album which is a banger, got nowhere on the charts.

Don Walker must be annoyed that Barnesy and Mossy had bigger solo hits than him.

Anyone up for a clothing round?
We haven't had one since Round 165 when TubbsFarquhar ruled the song contest world and Ulahoopski looked beautiful with a No. 1 sized Summer Address
So if you want a new outfit, vote for me! :p
Example: 5 points - BFew's Nom

Had a few coffees already Bfew?😉☕☕☕
Funny you should ask.
I ran out of coffee at home 3 days ago.
Only a quality blueberry juice this morning so far for drinkies.
Went back to sleep after waking too early and my 5am post in here this morning.
And got prematurely woken by a call from a family member about 7am.

I have a theory that people that assume that most human creativity usually only comes from artificially induced highs/stimulants, themselves aren't usually used to being highly creative without the aid of artificial stimulants, as opposed to natural highs, or just plain old personal effort to attempt to be creative or entertaining, sometimes in the face of darkness, severe stress, loneliness and tragedy.

Blueberry juice? What’s that like?
Blueberryery???

Which thankfully reminded me to check the best by dates of all my normal caffeinated tea bags.
And they all went in the bin as all were long passed their dates.
Must remember to buy more instant coffee today if I can find any of the ones I like on special.
Have some small cans of energy drink for emergencies.
Don't think any of the herbal like teas I have, have caffeine in them. Will check that now.
.... trots off to check
Actually my Twinings "Focus" Peppermint, Green Tea & Guarana has approx 5mg of caffeine in it per well dunked teabag.
Just put the kettle on to test if this stimulant changes my behavior in and out of this thread in the next 30 minutes.

I might gently challenge that theory.

I reckon coffee or no coffee will not effect a person's natural creative abilities.

It's likely a learned habit that stimulates focus. It doesn't 'make' you creative.

It may open the way to chatter or posts online...but what you write or create, I'd argue, comes from a deeper well.

No doubt a creative can create with or without artificual stimulants.

And 'work mode' as a creative, may not be ideal - rather, letting go and opening up to.
Out of the chattering mind and into the quiet.

Know what I mean?

Coffee or not...weed...drugs...or nothing...there are many ways artists get to that 'space'.
I don't judge how - if it works for them and does no harm.

Post of the week 4 me. :trophy:

Clarification: MBR's post above is the post of the week in my eyes. (Not my far inferior post she responded to).
