Songs about drugs

"Things go well, your eyes dilate, you shake, and I'm high"

"Now the body of one soul I adore wants to die
You have always told me you'd not live past 25
I say stay long enough to repay all who cause strife
Once again you see an in, discolored skin gives you away
So afraid you kindly gurgle, out a date for me"

Chilling and prophetic - my favourite AIC song

The original and best by The Beatles in 1965 - mixed into shows by The Chemical Brothers in the 00's without raising an eyebrow

John Lennon said this song was inspired only by a picture Julian drew that was stuck on his fridge. Yeah, right.

Actually much of AIC's discography is about drugs.

Cheap Trick's Surrender also has a few drug related metaphors in it.

THE quintessential bogan anthem, but it also has a point in there somewhere...

This song always made me laugh, when the DJ'd play this at the pub, how all the bogans would sing along as if it was about going to Bali and partying or something, instead of being about taking drugs to forget about life and being trapped in that whole downward spiral.
