Whats in it thats worth $400???I'm so ****ing angry...I've been living under a rock for the last few months.
I pre ordered the limited edition from JB HI FI a few weeks ago. Today, I was surfing their website to find out there was a collectors edition released but now they are all sold out. Can't find it anywhere, expect on eBay but they are going for $400+.
God damn it, I'm spewing I missed out.

it's already shipping in the UK (month earlier then here)

they remove VAT when you add it to your order (I use them all the time) but postage costs more on this due to the size.... normally it's only 1.39.

I owe you a beer. They had stock of the PS3 version, which wasn't my preferred system but I'm happy to have the game anyway. Plus, it worked out cheaper from them than buying it in Australia. I probably should have bought two, and sold one.

So im guessing im the only one playing this game right now?
Absolutely brilliant, it was worth playing through all the shoddy sonic games over the years to get something like generations. future is looking bright if they can build off of this and stop adding stupid gimmicks to future sonic games.
S ranks are easy to get in this game though, that would be the only fault i can find
other than that, its a sonic fans dream come true. So much to unlock too
Collectors edition was well worth the money, the box is huge and the statue has a rubbery feel too it and not some cheap plastic like i feared.

I'm waiting for my copy to arrive from the UK. But I played the demo the other day and I was loving it. Very very nice, looks great and plays great. It actually feels very fast when you play as new Sonic.
Can't wait for my collectors edition to arrive. I seen an unboxing video and it looks well worth the money. Can't believe people are asking $400+ on eBay for them though. lol

Just beat the first "inspired by the final boss in Sonic 2 on MD" boss and I must say this is the best thing that has happened to Sonic since the 16 bit era. Really enjoying it thus far.

The game is fantastic, i opted to buy the pc version digitally (veryyyyyyy cheap on greenmangaming), hesitant at first due to the system requirements and having read of other people with decent pc's.... struggling to run the game. But i chose to do it as i am trying to limit the amount of 360/ps3 titles i am purchasing throughout the next few months (good luck with that, i know
).
The only real hassle i had was waiting for the download to complete, ran the game and it runs very good.... there is some slowdown on occasion, it's a minor issue, but it could annoy me if i keep getting consistant fast speeds, but the computer processes it at a snails pace.

I really wished they had some level remake dlc for this game, still put the game in every now and then for a few quick nostalgic stage runs. Wouldve loved to see levels like Ice Cap remade though

Game is excellent. The only thing I hated about it was the objective stages you needed to complete to progress. Would have perferred if they just kept it old school.
I wasn't really diggin the "collect 100 rings" to complete this stage, "finish this level in xx time" or "beat sonic" ....Other than that this game was unreal, can't wait for a follow up.

I enjoyed this game, i was one of the few people who enjoyed sonic 06. The bosses were shit though, the only sonic game with good bosses were heroes and adventure 2 battle. The boss where you play as super sonic was possibly the worst boss in sonic history.

I was at my local Big W and I remembered you post. I found the game and scanned it and it come up as $10. Maybe go back or try another store??
