Sorry hawks

I didn't really like the new logo when it was first introduced. But I have to say it's kind of grown on me.

Still prefer the oldschool ones, and even the 'swooping' hawk one.

I like that one as well.:thumbsu:

Da Vinci did the same with the Mona Lisa.

Then again, the current crop of Hawks players are also priceless.

Looking forward to that silverware come September.

Other logos I hate are:

- Essendons, it's a plane for crying out loud. Their jumper colors are good, mind.

- The new North ones. I digged the old North Melbourne logos, they were ace, but these new ones are shocking.

Given that hawk trolls are the most annoying on bay 13 I'm apprehensive to pay Hawthorn any complements. But to be honest, I actually think their logo looks pretty good. Geelong's on the other hand .....

It certainly takes some getting used to, especially after the awsome swooping Hawk ones. Adelaide I have to say, have the best logo, and the best jumper too for mine.

This is like saying you don't like that new team the Dockers.

Please try and keep up. :o

Thats ok. I dont care what a Richmond supporter has to say abour our logo. Personally, I think its better than yours!

brother you picked tambling over franklin

you have a crap training facility

you will not win a flag in the next tewenty years at least

you picked wallace as coach instead of pretty much anyone else who has coached little league

you dump shit on your club when you lose

you dump shit at the club when you lose

you will be shit again this year but win the last four games of the season to just finishing ninth and missing the eight on percentage because richo kicked one out on the full in your last game of the seaon where a goal would have put you in the finals.

yeah brother we care what you think of our logo

go ____ a spider
Hawthorn: Less preliminary final appearances in the last 16 years than Richmond.

You should care what they think, they are a more successful club.:thumbsu:

that is so dumb brother

why is what they have done in the last sixteen years more important than forever in deciding if your club is successful?
16 teams in the comp. With the cyclical nature due to draft and salary cap, each club should on average have 1 flag in 16 years. It's a very good timeframe to use.

why is preliminary finals what you call success?

is it because richmonds idea of success is to be the runner up?
I never called preliminary finals success. Premierships are success. Over the last 16 years, it stands as Hawthorn 0, Richmond 0.

The next best measure is Runner-up. Over the last 16 years, this stands at Hawthorn 0, Richmond 0.

The next best measure is Preliminary Finals. Over the last 16 years, this stands as Richmond 2, Hawthorn 1.

There you have it, Hawthorn officially the least successful club. You should respect your betters such as Richmond.

in those sixteen years how many grand finals did you make it to?
My team made 3 and won 2.

i mean the premiership is the success being second or third or fourth and making a prelim is not success well it is if you are richmond maybe but not for most other people

second is what you get when you are not successful, success is winning what you went after to win
You resort to second, then third then 4th when you can't split teams based on flags. Which I showed earlier.

what about this : who has won the most flags since 1971? what about you answer that dude

answer me that cockroach ____er 37 years is longer than 16 years so your figuers will be closer to the truth dude
Oh dear, picking an arbitrary timeframe. You're really struggling. Over 111 years it stands at 16 > 9

:)

In the last 25 years

Hawthorn 5 flags

Essenedon 4 flags

Whats your point?

Essendon;

2005 13th
2006 15th
2007 12th
2008 11th (Could get worse)

Whats the future hold for the bombers?

Gone under the radar the bombers, you are lucky Carlton and Richmond are in the league, but I can see both those sides rising up the ladder..

Once again, what does the future hold for the bombers???

Awww, your club had a good decade. Good for you.:thumbsu:

Unfortunately you picked an arbitrary timeframe and shot yourself in the foot. 16 years is the rolling window as it allows every club to have a crack at the flag and win one each. Unfortunately, as it stand Hawthorn is currently the least successful side in the AFL. It's tough to swallow I know, but hang tight, there may just be light at the end of the tunnel.:)

Nobody knows what the future holds. It is irrelevant what you see rising up the ladder. Deal in facts not speculation.:)

Are we in 2011 or 2008?
Fremantle came into the league in 1995, 16 years? Pfft
Grab your arbitrary timeframe and try to work out when the bombers will next feature in finals action...

Glad you even noticed why exactly Hawthorn are the least successful AFL club. Fremantle have had 3 less years in this 16 year window and still have been as successful as Hawthorn.

Port has had 5 less years and much more successful.

Predicting the future is impossible.

Proving that Hawthorn is currently the least successful club in the AFL is a piece of cake.:thumbsu:

What are you on about? You've picked an arbitrary time frame too mate, just because you attach a ridiculous reason to it doesn't make it the be all and end all.

How many teams were in the comp 16 years ago? It wasn't 16...

Besides the only teams who talk about ridiculous time frames are the ones who can't bear to look at the right now, I'll stick to 2008 mate cheers.
