Hi guys.. Very sorry for the intrusion on your board..

I have a request which I believe is going to be impossible..

One of my family members and one of Melbourne Football Cubs's long time members passed away in a tragic accident last week. His funeral is this coming Monday and the dress code is Blue and Red or Demons attire..

I am desperately seeking someone in the Brisbane/Gold Coast area that could lend/sell me a Demons tie.

As I said... I think it's going be impossible but I feel I have to at least try.

Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried contacting the club? They have been very willing to help with things In the past

This. I wouldn't be surprised if they express posted a free tie to you. MFC is good about stuff like this.

If you can get through to the club there is zero chance they don't help out IMO. The MFC has a history of doing a lot more even in much less terrible circumstances!

I've forgotten which ones though.

Maybe Crimson Azure or RandB could tag a few of our Brisbane friends here?

I'm in Brisbane, but unfortunately don't have a tie.

The only AFL shop up here is the Lions Shop at the Gabba, and as you'd expect, they don't really have anything of other clubs.

The Surfers Paradise Demons are the only club I can think of who have our colours.

Thanks for your reply's and support.. I was able to find a Blue and Red tie for today's Funeral and was also happy to join many many others in wearing a Demons scarf..

Whilst i am NMFC for life... Today I was happy to be MFC.
