I honestly feel sorry for you guys because now every small thing you do is magnified ten-fold in the media and makes you look worse. Take the Braun incident, 3 years ago it would've been a slap on the wrist or a worst a tiny fine, now it's front page news in Melbourne on Tuesday. The Selwood incident, would've been fair game but now suddenly it becomes in the media a showing or the lack of respect that your club has and a sign that your players think you control the world.

That said the players still need to pull their heads in a bit at least until the magnifying glass on your club fades away

Nah - it`s not too bad. We built up a fair amount of thick skin a month or so ago with the Ben Cousins saga.

As for Selwood, waiting to pass judgement unlike the media scum, the old adage, 'There are two sides to every story'.

I love watching the eagles play, like you guys are so far above everyone bar say Sydney its not funny, thats what makes me watch you guys.

Just dont smash us by 10 goals this week, gotta love the 'us against the rest of the world' mentality for a club to use, sure gets the juices flowing!!!!

Brauny should have been fined for dropping the magic word over the microphone. I thought that what the club handed was appropriate and that should have been the end of it.

Selwood has been tried, convicted and executed by media (as usual) in a totally unfair manner.

Too many journos for the game each trying to get some space in their paper/channel so the standard is shocking.

Caro only wants our players locked up so that she can get her leather gear on and go into their cells and discipline them. A fate worse than death.
