Soundwave is different to most festivals, they usually have their timetables up a lot earlier than others. December/January should see them up.

The sad part means there will be a shitload of clashes. Apparently there is some clash between Machine Head and SOAD. Makes me a sad panda.

That would be stupid. There are enough shyte acts on the first 4 lines of the line up to put up against SOAD. What next, Lamb of God on at the same time as Mastodon .

I agree it would be stupid. Just what I've heard. THere will also be hardcore bands headlining that stage while SOAD are playing, and a few others. I think the last count was close to 90 bands.

Looks like eastern states are close to selling out, Melb today or tomorrow (2600 tickets left this morning, Bris on the weekend and Syd sometime next week (9000 tickets left this morning).

Anybody else see the Ch V's 90 minute special Soundwave 2012 last night? Added The Used, Lost Prophets, A day to remember and Enter Shikari to my list of probables. This time around while I'm looking forward to seeing the headliners, the main reason I'm going is for the bands below the top 4.

My list of possibles sits at 26 at the moment.

Bush use to be one of my favourite bands when I was younger. Saw them play in the 90's when Superjesus were there support band and they were pretty bloody good
Should be good to see them live again

Brisbane looks like it will be sold out by Wed.

Lamb of God, Black Dahlia Murder and In Flames doing sidewaves in Canberra (1/3) at UC and Brisbane (28/2) at Eaton Hill Hotel. Only Sidewave coming to the Capital.

Tickets through Oztix for Bris and Oztik and ticketek for Canberra, on sale 16/12.

Might be worth a look for In Flames on their own as they are reportedly may be going to clash with Manson in the evening at Soundwave.
