Looks like there's a thing on Channel V tonight at 10:30pm onwards, something to do with Soundwave.

Playing Soundwave is on at 8.45pm 25/10 on ch v. This one only goes for 30 minutes whereas the other one went for 90 minutes.
None of them has sold out yet, though Ticketek have run out of tickets for the Melbourne and Sydney events I think. Tickets for all shows are still available via Oztix though, which you can use be just buying from the Soundwave website.

3rd announcement of another 7 bands Friday 18th some time in the afternoon. Confirmed it will include In Flames, These kids wear crowns and Holy Grail. Will also include the replacement for Hole.
Not sure if this is the final announcement as the status of Falling in reverse is still a bit up the air. Apparently there will be a future announcement regarding them.
I'm going to Chisel tomorrow so hopefully somebody can post these tomorrow.

This just keeps getting better and better. Seriously, how ****ing good is this lineup? Never been matched in Australia before imo.

The sad part means there will be a shitload of clashes. Apparently there is some clash between Machine Head and SOAD. Makes me a sad panda.
True, not always the worst problem to have, better than having no one to see for 4 hours like most Big Day outs. I've seen most of the bands on the bill anyway before so clashes won't bother me so much (won't be seeing those shit ***** Trivium again though).

I'll pick a few bands I absolutely have to see (AB, SOAD, Slipknot, Panther, MH), and then see who plays when after that. Hoping to catch Gojira, Mesuggah, Trivium (haven't seen them before) Bad Religion and a few others. Whenever Limp Bizkit play could be a good contender for beer o'clock if no-one else is tickling my fancy

Was thinking the same thing tbh. Black Tide and In Flames should be cool though, The Black Dahlia Murder are meant to be good as well I think, don't know them too well though, SW had me at the first announcement though!

It usually doesn't come out until close to the festival - so maybe early Feb. There has been a few tweets from the promoter (i_am_not_shouting), and plenty of discussion on the Soundwave forums on their.
