Well, a day to go, and the hoards are beginning to make their way across the border for a HUGE game of football. United, after the pantsing by Perf are a little miffed, and I expect the lads to come out full of p|ss and vinegar. Souths, having dispatched of a VSF standard K-niggets are keen to do it again.

The fans are pumped, I've roped in a few Crows fans (Soccer Virgins) from Melbourne and together with the 3-400 nuts from Adelaide making the journey.....this should be a huge atmosphere. If you are a non aligned soccer fan from Melbourne, or a euro-snob who thinks NSL has no passion......do youself a favour [/Molly] and get down to Bob Jane Stadium for the 1900 festivities.

When I find out where the AUFC pubs to meet at are, I'll post on here.

Come on you Reds!

Should be a great game hopefully all the souths supporters come out aswell and can get a crowd of 8000+ that would be awesome.

I'm predicting a 3-1 victory to souths. Boutsi to kick alot of arse and goals.

I still got a soft spot for that guy. Its hard not to when he's a world class dead ball specialist. The only in the league. He puts it where the spiders live.

According to the 5DN commentators we were unlucky not to get a point. It's hard to tell from radio commentary but with Smeltz playing up front it seems we are more threatening.

Typical Kovacevic would get both bloody goals though!

The reception isn't great at my place so it was a bit hard to hear the United fans but I'm sure they were in good voice as usual!

Tough game next week against the 'gong, particularly after they knocked off the Glory tonight! Let's just hope their form doesn't travel.

South a bit lucky to come away with 3 points. Both our goals came from corners from our dead-ball specialist Boutsi. United had a lot of possession, especially in the second half when South just seemed to sit back and defend. Vidmar was unlucky to hit the post.

And yes, Ray, the United fans were in good voice, sang all through the match and sounded louder than our fans.

all in all, a pretty scrappy performance from South, but at least we've moved up to second place!

lucky or not, fact is South won... like Kosmina said in the paper, the only real good 2 chances South had, we took them and scored!!! and by an ex-Adelaide player to boot!!! onya Ante!!!! :D

but well done to the travelling Ade Utd supporters - you guys made some good noise.. only thin though, you need to come up with some original chants besides the same old thing over and over....

and a fantastic job to the crew at Clarendon Corner - in the rain and all, they continued to sing and jump around, creating a great atmosphere!! well done CC!!!!

about 8000 showed up, not a bad crowd considering the weather conditions... it was bloody freezing!!!

anyways, South now in 2nd spot, 2 pts behind Perth!!!

BRING ON THE KUNGZ!!!

SOUTH OLE!!!!
