Did any other sandgropers head down? Am suffering from a crap combination of heatstroke and hangover but I had an awesome time.

Have never been more stuffed than after running between Modest Mouse, Basement Jaxx and The Hilltops.

Yeah It was absolutely awsome time. The higlight for me would have to be seeing Modest Mouse. I got right up the front to see em .But the lowlight also was Modest mouse not being allowed to play for longer

Same hapened to me mate.. the next day i was buggred big time.I was enjoying the Little Creatrues tent at soutbound.... the pale ale went down really nice.

what bands were the highlights?

Modest Mouse, John Butler, Blue King Brown (what a great set to stumble drunk into!), The Hilltops, Little Birdy, Basement Jaxx and Scribe. The DJ in the tent where the most of the Hip Hop stuff was awesome as well, played a great breaks remix of Dock of the Bay and mixed Smells Like Teen Spirit/Encore, neither of which I've been able to find.

Only dissapointments were missing out on You Am I because my mates wanted to go to Wolfmother (who were alright mind you) and busting my ankle at the end of Hilltops.

Only 40 mins . Modest were supposed to play earlier but there gear was still in Perth so they got to play at night with a shorter set
