Another tough round for tipping with early morning rain on Sat may have an impact on the results today? Wonder if it will be raining later?
Tips:
Highett- playing consistently, like these in and under conditions. Need to stop Anstey.
East Brighton- depth of 22 to get them over the line. Bruno a class inclusion.
St Pauls- home ground advantage and play it well.
Clayton- wet day, small ground, in a bit of form. Dingley need to stand up today, if they want to be in September action.
Cheltenham- will win easy. I like the look of them and Heatherton were very ordinary last week. Good that Chaffey is in for them.

Good luck guys.

Mahalo is in Italy. Judge the Dingoes after today's performance not last weeks. And just remember "Football Great" teams like Dingley, Heatherton, Clayton and Mordy achieved exactly the same as your mob last year and will achieve the same again this year.:D

Well Rhino i judged the Dingoes after todays effort and Clayton should have won by 10 + goals but took the foot off the pedal in the last quarter.

Yeah FG mob is a contender, whereas your mob is no better thAn a good 2nd division side
Watched St Pauls v CH today, looked like StPauls got some injuries. Neither side looked that impressive but after EB flopping in last years GF who knows what may happen later in the year.

St pauls with injuries? CH had no Matheson and Gilder who will be there on the return trip. CH kick straight and they win by 5 goals...... But bad kicking is bad football, although it's good to know there is 3 genuine contenders

With a third of the season gone, we now know who are the contenders
East Brighton:
St Pauls:
Chelsea Heights:
The top three are all looking good

The next three are fighting out to see who plays finals and are all still a contender
Cheltenham: the big improver's and they are a better side than last year
St Kilda City:
Clayton:

The last four are playing to stay in D1
Dingley:
Highett:
Mordialloc:
Heatherton:
SFL is looking good

Tips for next week

St Kilda City x6G vs Heatherton Peanut Farm Reserve*
Highett vs East Brighton x6G Turner Road Reserve*
Chelsea Heights x 11G vs Mordialloc Beazley Reserve*
Dingley vs St Pauls x 5G Souter Oval*
Cheltenham x2G vs Clayton Jack Barker Oval Game of the round *

Think he was referring to the in-game injuries.

Had 2 players gone by 2nd quarter.

Lost another in the third, and then was without a bench from early into the 4th.

Was definately a tough win and with a few injuries to pay for it.

Yes, well done Homer. Dingoes are out of sorts and a fair way off the pace. Body size is our big issue. Enjoy your 5th win in 2 years. I hope your major sponsor in Retrovision doesn't go under as a few of your blokes I don't think will hang around if the money dry's up.

Im going good thanks, but dont know what you mean by Hey Koach ??
Please explain:cool:
Sorry mate, I clicked on quick quote and wasn't referring to you as Koach but interestingly Trueblood who everyone knows is theKoach jumps on straight away. Clayton are a real show to take 5th and City might miss out on finals. The Clays are really on the improve but, unfortunately for the Saints, I think they're on the slide. Their junior program is working well but may take a couple of years to bear fruit. That is, of course, if they can retain them and that's no gimme but they're on the right track

The funny thing is whodat is you talk as though your club has done something in the last 6 years besides being full of themselves and your prez having a love affair with Richard houstan

Was a ripper comeback from the Dogs. Kicked a couple massive goals from the boundary and a mile out, when we missed a couple from dead in front from 20-30 meters. Will cost you every time.

A few (i'm being very generous) umpiring decisions helped St. Pauls too.... Well not so much helped them, thats not fair, but hindered the Heights. I might be wrong, but I thought if you didn't throw the ball directly back to the person who had a free kick, that player got a 50? So if you throw it 2 meters over a 6'6" dudes head and past him by 10 meters, surely thats a fiddy?

Most sensible thing youve said for 3 years, what you have to realise is we lost
over 700 games experience over the summer, we also have 3 juniors in the vfl system. After 7 grand finals and five flags for the decade, not counting a prelim last year, we had a fair run. Currently in 5th spot and with 15 blokes under 23 on saturday id say we are well placed to launch again in the next year or two.
Club couldnt be happier, on or off field,

Granted! Looking at the Reserves there are quite a few that will step up to senior ranks and I'd suggest sooner rather than later. They are quick and skilled and testimony to the Colts program. Great to see a home grown program that should place the club in great shape over the next few years. A strong StKilda City means a stronger SFL which is great for football in general.

I think Gilbo was quite lucky with that, maybe the fact he apologised as soon as it left his hand helped his case haha, might start doing that from now on.

Was a ripper game, and from being out there the pressure that Chelsea put on us was massive....if they keep that intensity/pressure up come finals they will go close because in my opinion it was the intensity/pressure we put on EB that won us the flag last year. It makes good teams make bad rushed decisions.

Mate if your gonna throw stupid statements out there like dont judge us on last weeks performance judge us on this weeks then get done by 7 + goals after the 100 + points the week before what do you expect ?
And now ya getting all bitchy !! it may well be our 5th win in two years but we have beaten you the last 2 times so what does that say....
To me it says your overated again, picked up recruits meant to be the big improver and doing jack again... You just worry about counting the Dingoes wins mate and trying to actually improve over time not go sideways.

I did say "judge us on this weeks game" so we are happy to be judged as shite. We have lost all respect. Not sure why we are overrated. It's only people on this site judging us pre season. Of our 5 recruits this year 2 have already played Reserves 1 has left so we have 2 additions. Not enough to improve.
