Sorry that came out a lot harsher than was intended. Certainly agree with some selections but as mentioned have only really looked at one team week in week out.
How bout I just chuck in the entire MW side? Maybe you think you deserve a spot as well? Hardly a better on baller than wilmott though. Kirkup didn't get a gig cos it's no secret that I don't rate him, but I guess we'll see if I should rate him this week eh? I tell you what, if he kicks more than 1 goal, I'll buy you some hair dye.

HEY scratcha did saleno get sacked after the game, whats going on down there,Wright and Gorman in the ressies ,it cost you in the ones you had know forward line, those two players would have given use a target.
I hope Doveton didn't get their prioritites wrong. They would have had a great chance to knock off BR if they had anyone in their forward line. From watching both games on saturday I'd say the reserves had a better forward line than their seniors.

Can say that it had nothing to do with priorities, more personality clashes, its no secret as scratcher has pointed out several times on here that gorman, dye, the gardiners and wright would have made it very interesting in the ones i believe with them in doveton would beat black rock but as things stood they didnt and doveton lost. Dye,Gardiner and Gormans issues whatever it may be with the coach were not resolved so they played reserves which they have done so most of the year, trav gardiner was injured and wrighty was on one leg but put his hand up to stand in the goal square for the 2's. But either way its been a great result for the club getting off the bottom last season to get both teams into the finals this year!:thumbsu::thumbsu:

Unfortunatly for the playing group it wasnt priorities. Just Clash of personalities (with the exception of Wrighty who was actually injured but a player like him can get a kick on 1 leg in rressies footy). Was a little heartbreaking to watch them dominate in the forwardlne before our game though. Oh well.

Will be an interesting finals series with the 3 teams left. On their day, all teams can dominate and match up well on each other. Very Close. If its wet will it affect results. Good to see Div 3 back to an even competition

Still can't figure out who you are MoC. Anyway, don't take anything away from the rocker back line. Doveton forwards may have been lacking, but they were up against the best in the business down back.

Surely Cam Kirkup from Mt could get a gig in the FP or atleast get a mention in the stiff ones category considering he kicked 40 goals for the year, playing as a crumbing forward. Also maybe the old man Gallagher could get a mention kicking 27 goals as a mid/forward (please no one tell him i said this). Or maybe young Tommy Robbo who has actually played CHF this year.
Hahaha, i'm telling old man gallagher how much you love him. You shouldn't be the one calling him old though. Kirkup definitely deserves a gig, he will show you up this week benchy, you will see.

Gotta agree with the old fella No.4, you have to do more than look at who is in the best every week. A lot of teams have players providing drive and motivation for their team which doesn't get noted by the club representatives on the sfl website, although who knows how the SFL will pick the real side, cos they will probably do the same as benchy has done. That said, anything without Carrol (cant) and Costantino (mount) on the ground is an absolute joke... And who is that Pearce character you keep sticking down back, what a dud.

Hey Bazz what you think about the game on sat. Eagles have a good future with OJ, Gus, Cam V, Frisdad, Brett Hidgcock, and Brett Reid who are all teenages and had great years. Just inexperienced against the good Black Rock outfit. A few more good teenages coming down next year also, so might be time to retire:D:D:D
Actually its a good excuse to get away from the wife and kid each tuesday, thursday and Sat so I will be still having a dip next year!

For what it's worth a good year with all the new inclusions into the side and the injuries to some very good senior players as well as some other internal issues. I'm sure that the kids will certainly improve after a full year of playing senior football.

Also possibly a few senior players short this year which I am sure the club will look at for next year, combined with the kids.

ALL IN ALL the future looks good !!:thumbsu::thumbsu:

PS: Can someone please tell Tim Sim to play on next year as it would be a waste to see him retire without getting his royal whack that he deserves ?

If it was a clash of personalities Scratcha someone with balls had to make a decision either.1 The players get told to pull there heads in or just GO or 2 The coach got his marching orders.Stop pussy footing around the issue. That Is all

#11 for the Eagles would have to be the weakest player I've seen run around in any league. Just pathetically weak. If he thinks sniping little blokes in packs from behind makes him a hard nut, he's sorely mistaken.

He'd fill his shorts if anyone proper actually stood toe to toe with him, on Sat he wouldn't even throw a punch at that little #44 for BR, preferring to just throw boots in at packs.

What a pathetic little man.

Not there with you ENEMY, I can tell you that some of these kids have done the job on many experienced players in Div 3, this Year.

Don't take my word for it ask others around including Barr at Skye, Kirkup at Mt Waverley, Black Rocks full back all beaten quite convincingly the list is endless !!!

I SAY THE FUTURE LOOKS BRIGHT I BETTER WEAR SHADES !!:D:D

To say that you dont rate our 18 year old kids, especially for their first year of seniors (Hidgcock, Fristad, OJ, Gus and Cam Van-Nes ) You really dont know a thing or 2 about footy, Or dont watch much of it:thumbsdown::thumbsdown:
Anyway that is all..... From the Eagles 1sts for this year!:(:(

I played on young Van-Nes when you guys made the trip to Mayfield earlier this year. He left the goal square maybe twice and got 1 kick for the entire match, which was a dodgy free kick in the square and happened to be a goal. Hard to rate a bloke based on 1 game I know, but hardly a young "gun" is all I'm sayin.

ha ha ha!!! :Dthat was a quiet day for the young fella, but he did provide us with one of the funnier moments of football when you walked backwards without looking and fell over young cameron who was deliberately squatting behind you!!:D:D:D:p:p:p

Hi Tigger, thanks for the feedback I don't think anyone stated that they were guns ?

All I am saying is if you look at the other sides in DIV 3 and even Div 2 they would not have the same amount of kids in their Senior side, with this in mind I would say that this is a good sign moving forward.:D:D
