Paul Allison's been signed up as coach of Claremont to replace Luke Potter.
Think Allison was playing in the Dodges Two's in 2019, not sure if he pulled on the boots this year.

I know that a lot of SFL players will automatically return to the ODFA at the end of this month.

Andrew Moody who was in the Huonville Senior Premiership team being one of them.

Thanks I’ll add
Looks like Jock McGregor's finished up his coaching stint at Sorell after four seasons at the helm.
Had a 6-48-0 record from 54 games.
Would expect a new coach to be named pretty soon.
The Eagles have been near the bottom of the ladder for a number of years now and don't seem to be showing any signs of improvement.
Thought having Jock as coach might attract some good recruits but it never eventuated.

Kingpin do you know how strong is the junior football at Sorell? It's a growth area, but I suppose the club went into recess a few years back and it’s tough going starting back up after that?

Sorell went into recess for a season in 2003 when they couldn't form a committee to run the club, that was when they were in the Premier League.
Came back in 2004 in the Regional League and were quite strong for a few years there.
Not sure about the strength of their juniors, quite reasonable by all reports, but someone down there was telling me one day that they nurture them through the ranks down there and always seem to have them poached by other bigger clubs in the region once they reach a certain age.
Their senior team last played finals fourteen years ago when they lost to Dodges Ferry by 10 points in the 2006 Regional League Grand Final.
They have won only two flags since the mid-1960s, the last was the Southern Amateurs premiership in 1990.
Sorell did win SFL Colts flags back to back in the early 2010s but lost most of those players to other clubs or to football altogether.
Since the start of 2007 it has been a real struggle for them, mostly finishing in the bottom two or three places.
Being a small local club, player retention seems to be difficult, always thought years ago that they were probably only two or three recruits off being a top side.
Still, Lindisfarne amassed the worst record of all time in the SFL for several years (had one win in 68 games including 50 losses on the trot) and they turned it around, it is a worry that it's gone on for so long though.

Thanks, Kingpin, for that background info in Sorell, gee 10 years of pain in those results! Hope they can hang in there. Silly question and excuse my ignorance are there any residential zones in the SFL (like back in the day of the old TFL?)

What is the incentive for clubs like Sorell to develop your colts if they can just leave easy to other clubs?

Heard Hobart could be getting a few players in the off season?
I think they're targeting a few, yes.
One of the 2017 Colts premiership team players, Angus Evans, who played a lot of senior footy for HB this year is leaving to do his studies.
He wasn't going to be playing this year but with Covid, he stayed in the state and end up playing the whole season out.
I think there's a concerted effort to get a Colts team up and running next season (they didn't field one in 2020), at the latest, 2022.
The club held its Best and Fairest night last night at the TCA Ground and had a good turnout.
Luke and Jack Adams, both recruits from Richmond tied for the Bailey Medal, the first time brothers have been dual winners of the award at Hobart, wouldn't think it would've happened often at all at many other clubs.
Jack polled strongly in the final round to get up and tie the award.
Caley Gough took out the Reserves while Danielle Woolley won the Womens B&F.

Confirmed that Hobart will lose Angus Evans, headed interstate for Uni studies next year.
Unconfirmed as yet but I reckon it'll be odds on that Cygnet will lose Josh Fox back to Victoria next year as well as he was only playing down here due to Covid.
My Brighton mate tells me that the Robins are supposedly losing gun forward Alex Blair as well, which would be a big hit for them, booted 26 goals for them this season.
Still waiting on news of other signings at Hobart, they announced at the B&F on Saturday night that were close to naming a couple of good signings.
