Dodges, mate.

Sorry, as much my OCD kicking in as anything !
All good Oz, some of the descriptions tend to be a tad vague on where they come from.
Be interesting to see what players clubs lose, not too many names mentioned at the moment.
A good mate of mine is training with Brighton currently, broke his back playing TSL underage about 4 years ago with the Roos and hadn't played since, told me Brighton had about 30 on the track Monday night, about 10-15 Thursday night.
Norfik looking like it'll be a strong team again, Lindisfarne had several re-signing to go again in '21.
Hobart picking up a lot of young blokes out of the TSL. Sorell should improve a bit.
Not much out of Huonville, Cygnet or Dodges.
Cygnet will probably lose Josh Fox if footy resumes in Victoria next year.
Claremont losing a lot of players, alarming for a team that were winless this year.
Looks likely to be an interesting year coming up 👍

Claremont losing more then even has been announced. playing group have sided with the previous coach and left with him by look.
Wasnt the current coach (Allison) the last ever coach of Kermandie in 2008 before they lost about 40 odd players and went into recess, tried to sign up Warwick Capper and Mark "Jacko" Jackson the following season but folded before the season started due to a lack of players?

Heard yesterday that their longtime president Christine Carr has also stepped down from that role.
Appears to be a rebuilding phase with them for the time being.

If the SFL ever needs a President, should be the first phone call made

Nah it was Jayden Charlton that they signed, played 150-something games for NH and came to HB for one season in 2018 when we missed the finals on percentage after getting beaten by 125 points by Lindisfarne in the final roster match to drop out of the five by about 8%. Went pretty well for us from what I recall.
Hobart did try to recruit Laycock about 9-10 years ago in the TSL as I recall but didn't land him.

reardon & oneil back to cygnet -

not sure on reardon, baker, bank smith Anderton to the sfl - these boys are lifeblood of the tsl prime age demographic players alao
& Hobart pillaging the north & Clarence 18s - hate to see Hobart's bank balance and points limit for this year!(good luck in the premier league again , when the tsl dissolves)
dislike the osfa paying out outrageous $$ with no points cap or a inflated number is surly unsustainable - there is no community feel wat so ever!

A sizeable portion of those players signed up are underage players that have come to Hobart to play their football, rather than Hobart actually going out to actively target them.
First time in many, many years we're being seen as a club that people want to come to as it's looking to build longterm with younger players, plus they're assembling a Colts team again as well.
The vibe around the club has been very good since Gilmour took over, his signing as coach was one of the most important signings in the club's history given the terrible state of the club at the end of 2019.
I still firmly believe if he hadn't signed on as coach we would've been extinct by 2022 at the latest.
As for the TSL collapsing, I think it's probably inevitable that it will, it's not sustainable in its current position which is unfortunate because it started out fine, just shambolic mismanagement has crashed it.
With the amount of younger players that are abandoning it in favour of regional football, it would appear that there's a huge lack of confidence in the competition going forward, I think you're right, it'll end up going back to Premier and Regional once again.

If TSL does fall over the flow on to clubs below will hit hard. No more having no juniors and just getting players that don’t want to play at the top level from TSL clubs.

Read yesterday of the passing of former TFL Statewide League and later SFL player, Brendon "Horse" Browning, who passed away after a long illness only in his mid-40s (not sure of his exact age).
He had played Statewide League with Hobart in 1995-1996 before crossing to New Norfolk in 1997.
In 1998 he joined Brighton where he played in the Robins most recent premiership that year under Byron Howard, also took out the club's Best & Fairest in back to back years in 2000-2001.
Browning was awarded the Hodgman Medal for being adjudged the best and fairest player in the competition in 2000. Rest in peace.
