I cant find where Mark Stevens reported Eade was coming up for an interview...

I'm assuming he did on the seven network broadcast. Not on Twitter. You would have had to have been watching the news last night in Melbourne.

Chasing Eade after he has said no is fraught with danger, the Saint chased Blight after he said no, they continued to chase him and eventually talked him into it. The result was he was sacked 15 rounds later as he never had a passion for the role in the first place.

We want someone beating down the door for the job not someone we have to convince.

In all seriousness, after Caro reported that Hird had been sacked only for nothing of the sort to eventuate, she has lost all credibility. Until every other source says its Eade, Caro shouldn't be regarded as reliable lol. Good to listen to nonetheless!

Yeah, can't really trust too much in her words in terms of Eade. But she raised some good points in terms of the group and where we're at.

Essendon's 2014 coach Mark Thompson has softened his stance and is now open to the possibility of staying at Tullamarine in a reduced capacity.

Three weeks ago at the Bombers' best-and-fairest night, Thompson strongly indicated that he wanted to remain the club's senior coach despite the suspended James Hird returning to the fold.

Thompson all but ruled out any chance of him filling the vacant senior coaching positions at either Gold Coast or the Western Bulldogs.

"I haven't given it too much thought and haven't spoken to anyone," he said.

I really am over this guy, he has his manager approach us while Bluey is still contracted and now he is saying this rubbish. Yet another in a long line of lies and deceptions. Thank God we didn't chase this Peanut

He moved into admin when Geoff Walsh left last year.
Rocket was a good coach in his day and tactically he was a trendsetter.
But the game has past him by. He's a dinosaur.

Blight is a football director to / on the board and is effectively a consultant.
Neil Craig is a high performance manager effectively. He has little interaction with coaching and match day strategy.
Malthouse has a 41 percent win/loss ratio at his new club.
