I stand by the fact that if Kyle Reimers can kick 8 goals in a game, anything is possible in footy!

gotta admit though, would be funny to see that thread on the main board about ablett sitting with johnson turned on it's head. out of contract at the end of next year, ablett questioning whether to return? nah, stevie's heading north. :P

although i hope he's safe, at least for another year, thought i would bring this up.

of the current coaches, mckenna has been with his current club the 3rd longest in the afl (longmire as an assistant before head coach, and mckenna with the tac/vfl sides before our first season).

clarkson ('05)
longmire ('07 - first afl season 2011)
mckenna ('08/09 - first afl season 2011)
hardwick ('10)

so he's been with us a good 6 or so years, and as we saw yesterday with sanderson yesterday, that's longer than the average coach in this era. i think let his contract run, as next year should be when we hit our straps (hopefully haha). this whole premiership in 2015 thing might be a concern for the board though. pretty ambitious to set it in the first place, but to bring in a new coach for the season we're meant to win a premiership by? good luck haha.

Spot on. There's a lack of patience on here and everyone wants a flag tomorrow. Sacking Bluey won't add 2-3 years onto every player's age.
