Barrett is a dick, can guarantee you if Bomber Goes to you guys Ablett won't stay. Too much bad blood there. I hope Bluey stays.

It was certainly what changed the game. It was pretty even in the early going, and they were tied at I believe 14-14. Then Hawthorn went on that run playing extremely physical, getting the footy, and turning it into goals, which is where the tackle differential came into play. It wrecked the swans, and the team fell apart. Like when that one ******* Swan spoiled that footy into the corridor when he was all by himself and could've taken the easiest of chest marks, resulting in a Hawks goal. The team was wrecked. They gave up probably 30 points in the first half from plays they just quit on. That initial run for the Hawks was key, and physicality was what made it happen. That's the main reason that game looked so much different than the Hawks/Port preliminary.
 
Having re-read over all the news articles regarding the Ablett vs Bomber feud, it doesn't seem likely that Bomber would come up to coach GC.

Today or tomorrow seems to be the general consensus in the media. It has been mentioned that there a clause in his contract that will see him not paid the full amount if he is sacked by tomorrow. I think the club denied it but then again the Crows denied the Tippett trade clause and we all saw what happened there.
 
Suppose we lured Thompson, could it help our chances grabbing old mate Sando as an assistant? Haha that would be something

Although there are whispers he has a gig with the AFL now

That whole episode was so blown up. Gary is not the type to hold a grudge. From what I was told it was put to bed ages ago and they have no problems with each other whatsoever.
