Osama and George W grew up together you know....and when the US was in total lockbown by air the Bin Laden family was jetted back to Saudi by private jet.

Back slapping when half pissed. Probably more honesty in that. But I tell you what. Every QLD and AFL scribe will watch every comment, every movement, face pull performance between these two. And my guess it wont be pretty.

Bomber isn't coming. Its a ruse to get a better deal at EFC. Can you imagine him FOLLOWING and escaping GAJ who he lambasted for leaving the Cats to go to the SUNS after not speaking to eachother for 5 months. Then after Bomber said he was too tired to coach anymore, AND walked out on Geelong and went to the Bombers? What? Now he is going to follow Gary to GCS? RUBBISH! If he is, its the wrong motivation, its all wrong, and it wont work out well.

It's always like this whenever a coach gets sacked, and the speculation from all sides will continue to increase the longer things go on as it will potentially influence the trade period. You can see our own board's AFC "next coach" equivalent for evidence of that. Hopefully a formal announcement will occur soon, and it won't be drawn out for your supporters.

I wouldn't be surprised with Bomber as head coach with Sanderson getting another chance as an assistant.

So your entirely ruling out the possibility of him either lying or the existence of a third party hence his careful wording?
 
If we haven't locked up a replacement coach then Witeriff should sacked, talking about process in the coming WEEKS is just insanity, either he is lying (and I hope he is) or incompetent. Neither qualities of a top notch CEO

I AM SERIOUSLY WORRIED NOW, anyone know how to chess the Bluey presser?

This is what is piquing my curiosity in all this. I'd presume that these 2 have settled their differences (it's been 4 years obviously) and could work together again at a professional level. If Bomba does indeed become GC coach I might eventually grow a soft spot for the Suns. :)

Why would you go for another untried coach though?

I find it odd that the club would boot McKenna only to go for another bloke who's never (apart from 5 games with the best team in the comp...) done it before.

Surely its Bomber?

You were probably better off not to listen to mere lies, half trths, and promotion. There was obviously little fact tthere,

Imagine you were Bomber. You wanted to keep the EFC job like he said passionately the other day or night after their game. He wants a better deal. how do you do it? Get two or three clubs chasing you. Honesty happens quickly like Hasler to Bulldogs. It happens suddenly, no bullshit, bartering, playing one against the other, bad history etc.

Thompson wants EFC. We are being played. Even if he does become coach, it shits me he couldn't have just stood up and said yes I want the job, or the club says we have someone. Money is still talked. Piss him off. GAJ has always been a decent bloke and judge of people. An honest performer. I trust his initial judgement of the man.

Bomber is the oldest candidate. Lets get someone younger.
