Now the game changes again Bulldogs could be shopping for a new coach as soon as tomorrow

What with all this players chuckin' a sookie and the coach goes bullcrap? Seems to be catching on.

I liked that article with Andrew Travis. There seems to be a clear idea what they're doing now; namely fixing our depth (i.e. our NEAFL side) and getting mature-aged players to act as mentors.
why didnt we sign josh hunt as a top up player

is this usual all these coaches leaving etc? Im new to AFL, but ive noticed the priority in junior development (16-22) seems more vital and public than what happens in thr NRL.

But is it usual to clean out coaches as well and so much as this season??

They say ' when the tide is low, all the ships are lower in the water...'

Are coaches getting a raw deal?

The Dogs just need to get rid of all their older blokes and start over. They've caused shit for years. Pathetic.

Let's have a Sando/McCartney duel-coaching scenario. YOLO.

It's Gen Y, times have changed. They need hugs....

That is an interesting topic, and needs its own thread, not in the GCS area, but on the main board. It may be possible this equilibrium has been coming for some time for he good of the game. Time will tell.

The players are treated like slave gladiators. flogged, traded, pitted against each other, all with a use by date. Perhaps there has been too much slavery, too much of being told where to live, how to live, what to eat, where to go, who your friends are, etc. Control at every point. Is that not slavery of a kind? Very interesting topic.

Has the draft done this? Was this inevitable? The Lions got a taste of player displeasure. Perhaps its beginning on a wider scale, and if its not addressed, unrest will get worse? These are kids with a dream being slowly squeezed to be robots of little pleasure, no fun, no, freedom. I can see a revolt from all this in a few years. Historically it has been kids who revolt. And usually get rewarded for it, like Ian Chapell, Tony Greig, Richie Benaud, etc. Shit happens, money sees opportunity. It happened to Cricket, the NRL, Boxing. You think it cant happen to AFL? Kids will not be slaves. Are they revolting? Are the ships low because of the tide?

Trouble with your argument is that its the veterans that are driving all this crap.
