So we can’t identify the person as him or her?
Where did I call her that? Her gender isn’t an issue, the fact you called her a DEI hire was.
She has the required level of education to do the job.

It wasn’t my reference,Him or her? Yes.
Reference to DEI is unnecessary.
but when he gets the job it's white male privilege and that gets thrown about like an unwanted baby.Of course you can call her out but raising the DEI stuff is crap.
Men can be just as crappy in senior roles as women (I’m sure if anyone has been in a corporate organisation you see it on full display). You criticise them for what they do or don’t do. Referencing to the sex, sexuality etc is irrelevant to the conversation and shows an insecurity by the person raising it.
It's openly expressed on the afl website that they aim to have equal representation, so no it's not crapOf course you can call her out but raising the DEI stuff is crap.

Call her out on her performance, no problems. Don’t claim it was a DEI hire… bullshit American nonsense. What qualifies one to hold that role? She is a qualified lawyer, and has worked in footy administration for a number of years. She is not just some random woman picked off the street. As i said, she is no more shit than others that have held that and similar roles within the AFL - the rest of them being male.So we shouldn’t call her out, is that what you are suggesting
Where has that ever been mentioned in here? My god id get eaten alive if i ever uttered those words in here.but when he gets the job it's white male privilege and that gets thrown about like an unwanted baby.
Of course, when that happens, its fiiiiiiine.

In your opinion… she was actually seen as an effective administrator at North as she drove the bid to gain an AFLW license in 2019 and established their very successful program. She also established their Next Gen academy which gave over 150 girls an opportunity in vic and Tasmania. She was recognised in 2017 for her contributions to grass roots footy for girls when she was nominated as Football Woman of the year so she’s no bloody slouch...and she’s not the CEO. She is the EGM of football operations (not performance). She oversees the delivery of all programs (AFL, AFLW, VFL, VFLW), health and medical including concussion protocol and mental health. She is supposed to focus on pathways, specifically for girls coming up through the lower comps. She was hopeless at Roos and proven hopeless at AFL. There’s zero doubt that she was pre-ordained to be the first female CEO. Hell, they’re stupid enough to still go through with it. Dillon is hopeless too, total nepo baby.
And lawyers are rarely good business operators. In fact, I’d be more likely to choose from a pool of lifetime public servants than a pool of lawyers if I was forced to.

When it comes to dick measuring, win for usHaven't been online for a bit. Taking a break after the finals debacle.
Have just flipped through the last few pages.
Wow!
Just a reminder that this chatline is called BigFooty not BigCultureWars.

That's the Sharpe plan. Expected to wait until Draft night though, to see if he is still there at Pick 9.Crows trading future 1st for pick 11 from Carlton. Who could that get us?

Would be a shame to miss out on such a healthy crop of local lads.Interesting. Leaves us with 11 and 16. Do we then try and trade those up, or take 11, 16, 44?
Please let's not try any fancy footwork for Jevan Phillipou. I want players to have strong self-confidence but his arrogance is next level. Hope he goes to St Kilda with his brother and they can continue the culture rot at that club.
I’m not hero worshipping her at all. I’m just calling you out on your misogynistic bullshit. She wasn’t a DEI hire, she was well qualified for the role she was hired for.LOL, you can continue with your hero worshipping. She took on a role at AFL that only needed 1 person prior. And somehow did an outstanding job whilst simultaneously needing to have the role carved into 2. She’s hopeless, but will likely be the next CEO, because the AFL is a cesspool of inbreeding.
