Yes I agree, he doesn't have the natural fwd craft of a Tex or Thilthorpe .....but TBF, most FWD's in the AFL don't

4 weeks seems to be the average length of suspensions for non-tribunal related issues - homophobia, racism, sexism etc.

Being reported in some circles in Melbourne that Carlton is interested in doing a swap of Eli Hollands for Lachie Sholl

I would be more than happy for us to do it, I think Elijah is the more talented, better player but our club culture (as it stands) is not strong enough to deal with Eli and his off field issues. And that's a shame because he proved to be a decent gut running midfielder who could run on and kick goals

I realise Sholl is probably no world beater but a proven AFL level player and more useful to us than late 3rd or 4th round pick we would get in normal circumstances.

I wanted us to keep Eli, but clearly Graham Wright disagrees.

I want desperately for Eli to clean his act up and flourish at AFL level, i firmly believe he could do it at The Crows.

The kid has issues but he has a highly significant ceiling

If not Sholl, a token late pick is fine, I genuinely think Hollands could be a very successful reclamation player for The Crows, much like [PLAYERCARD]Tyson Stengle[/PLAYERCARD] at Geelong

If you were able to turn him around, not only would you get an A Grade talent for cheap, it would speak volumes for your club culture and environment and make it more attractive to potential recruits and stars from other clubs.

Hollands is the more talented player with a higher ceiling though.

I sincerely want to see Hollands have a fresh start and flourish elsewhere, maybe he just needs to get out of Victoria and bad influences
