I have said this before, Oliver had a close relationship with Burgess.

He has ADHD , and I know once someone with ADHD gets a hyperfocus good luck stopping them ( my wife and daughter both ADHD medicated)

Actually, he's the polar opposite. Bryce needed to leave Carlton because he was arriving at the lower paid years of his frontloaded contract. He never wanted to leave his beloved #Baggers and the only reason he did was that he desperately needed the coin. Oliver is arriving at the higher paid years of his backended contracted. If he's leaving, it's for no other reason than the football aspect, he's not getting a pay rise and could just as easily stay and phone it in with a rebuilding group.

No recruit was going to perform with that playing group post camp, remarkable he was excellent in the first half and then the entire team crash and burn.

We can upgrade existing rookies, McAndrew has a 2-3 year deal, so he could count as 1. Plus we've got 3 third rounders too, hopefully we can package these together somehow and move up a bit and take a slightly more likely type.

Likely go into a full rebuild and be chasing more picks, so possibly look to move 4 or 5 into multiple first round picks if they get pick 8 off Hawthorn.
