I don't see why McPhee can't be a gun off HBF. He can mark, run, kick, play tall or small.

If McPhee fails at HB next season and can't find form,don't know what we are gunna do with the boy?

Im hoping we see McPhee also on the wings, he's a long kick and can kick goals from outside 50 from memory. It would be just another option for us if our backline holds up with Slattery, Cole and Nash coming through.

Reimers is one of the younger players in the draft, I think we'll be looking at him a bit more in 2008. Looking forward to seeing how he develops. I still have faith in McPhee, a real confidence player. If the enthusiasm in this forum is anything to go by, how could he not get caught up in it and be All Australian again :thumbsu:

Yer,hes young,but I've seen him play a few times this year at PT.The whole team is full of skinny teenages. He does well against the senior WAFL players,men. Same as Gumby,these two have been playing with men,not,say TAC u18's footy. No what i mean?

As i noted in an earlier thread, i am sticking my neck out here but i believe that the midfield combination if these guys prove their worth of houli,hislop,jetta, and davey could become the future judd,cousins,kerr and embley in about 2-3 years.Time will reveal all.

lol that my friend is a VERY big call. but ofcourse I hope your right. still like the look of carltons up n commers in the middle though (murphy,gibbs,walker,simpson)

yeash i agree with that, thats a huge call and i doubt ours will be star studded as that but that wont matter our midfield will probably be more aligned with sydneys although we will be more classier then they are, maybe we could be associated with adelaides midfield where hislop could be riccuito and jetta could be Mcleod, the only difference our forwrad line will much better then theres and our backline with the inclusion of mal to help out the likes of fletch and Mcphee will be more then capable of shutting down sides.

carlton might have a good midfield, but there ruck stocks are thin and there backline is weak.

optimism is not a crime Nobby. I understand what you're saying, as an Essendon supporter would be leaving themselves wide open with a comment like that, but why not take it on face value as a (very rare) sign of goodwill from an opposition supporter?

walker will be fine within a few years the guy is only young, it took goddard a few years and this year he showed some consistent form. walker is progressing along nicely dont worry about him.
