Shouldve traded him while he was worth something
get off his back. one practice game. granted there is room for improvement but the saints and him have only been training with footies for 4 weeks, he's entitled to be a little rusty after not having played for 6 months. if he starts the first game in 5 weeks like that then knock all you like, not after one practice match though.

Just thought his return to form warranted a mention.
Still, I'm fully expecting a couple of shocking performances in between his matchwinning performances.
I think you are exactly right too STL. The fact that we started training with the footies so late will hopefully mean that there will be a lot more improvement in the skill level over the next four weeks.

You must agree though, that Spider had alot of ground to make up after that first outing!
Didn't see the match on Friday, but if he's come good as you said, then that's GFF. The League needs its good players to be fit and firing.

I doubt there is more inconsistent player in the competition. His best footy is brilliant, his worst is pathetic.
For all the criticism he receives (much of which is justified), most saints fans breathed a huge sigh of relief when he re-signed last year. We can't wait for the year where he puts it all together. If 2001 is his year, along with the added depth of the squad, I'm quite excited about our prospects.
