Some snippets from the SA Best's announcement. It explains the difference between the reported $7.2m in some reports and $7.5m

SA-BEST will push for $7.5 million dollars towards a major multi-million dollar re-development at the Port Adelaide Football Club that will see the establishment of an academy for indigenous players, lighting Alberton Oval and a museum, if it wins the balance of power at next week’s state election.
......
Six million dollars will go towards the $14 million needed to build the Aboriginal Centre of Excellence, $1 million will be for the installation of floodlights and change rooms for future SANFL and AFL Women’s games,
and $300,000 for the initial planning process for a museum to be delivered in time for Port Adelaide’s 150th anniversary in 2020.
......
“The provision of lights
suitable for TV production will increase the training capacity of the facility and make it available for the SANFL and AFLW night games.” The explosion of participation in the women’s game was an outstanding development and Port Adelaide will seek to enter the AFLW competition at the earliest opportunity.
......
The museum will be located within the precincts of the ground and existing clubrooms.
It will not only honor its distinguished football heritage but also that of the wider Port community. The $300,000 pledge by SA-BEST will be put towards drawing up initial development plans and archiving and storage of the club’s prized memorabilia and historical artifacts.
.......
While the state government has pledged its support, it has yet to commit to any funds. “Here’s my challenge to the local member, Jay Weatherill. Match our commitment or go one better,” said Nick.

So my bet is that announcements tomorrow around this are
1. We are building a museum to be completed by 2020 whether we get government monies or not. $300k isn't the difference between a yes or a no. Adding Port community stuff is a smart move.
2. We are getting a side in the SANFL in 2019 as we have put in a submission to the SANFL and one way or another we are preparing for a AFLW team and home games will be at Alberton and we want them to be night games given the hot weather in February and Melbourne. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the lighting cost $900k, so if that's right, $300k is for women's change rooms.
3. We might make some announcements about corporate contributions to the Aboriginal Centre of Excellence.
4. Labor might announce they have matched SA Best's pledge as Mr X challenged them.
