I think it's pretty stupid not to be on the roll. It's hardly the inconvenience it got made out to be when i was < 18, and eventually we'll switch to online voting so will be no bother at all.... and, god forbid, we actually have candidates that represent us and are worth voting for, it would be nice to vote for them. rather than having to vote informal as i have at every election because i don't have any other way at the ballot to say "these guys are shit"

Honestly it shits me that you can get fined for not voting in this country, either going to have to do a postal vote or show up after work for pretty much nothing.
