Thats the law of the punt. when i was a newbie i followed a horse called Jogger for about 15 starts, always placed never won, then i decided enough's enough and i let it go and you know the rest. Its been 30 years and i still remember it like it was yesterday. Stupid nagMy Quaddie numbers yesterday were:
2-3-5-7-20-21-22, Rekindling, beauty.
6-7-11-19, Odeon, you beauty.
3-6-12-15, Had 2nd, 3rd, 4th behind Ocean Embers.
1-5-11-13, Pedrena, you beauty
Ocean Embers is a mare that I used to follow, due to knowing a someone involved in the horse, and did reasonably well on (Cockram, that mares race in Tassie) but put in the sea after 4 terrible runs. Was essentially slated to go and be a mum after yesterdays run if she went no good.
It was literally the first horse in the race I put a line through.
I'm still not over it.

I only backed Embers on Cup Day because Tim said "I know she can't win" on twitter 15 minutes before the race hahahaMy Quaddie numbers yesterday were:

This one time an ex Western Australian scrubber got a dream run in a heavily biased rail on Caulfield Cup day and a noble beast from the rocky shores of Ireland found heaps of interference and couldn't run him down

What the hell was Stephen Baster thinking with his ride on Cabeza de vaca on Sat at Doomsen 30/12 /17..
Been a while since I’ve seen a amateur ride like that ..
