STW just that bit better aye.

STW usually rides further back so Hughy Bowman was smart trying to get a closer spot to the pace with the way the day/track was going.

I still think RE will be favourite ahead of STW

Its was Super Freak JMac, get your act together. :drunk:

Your posts make less sense the more i look at them, what the hell are you on? :drunk::drunk:

What the hell does that last sentence even mean? :drunk::drunk::drunk::drunk:

I think the summary of all those posts was that under a mile, RE will prove to be the better horse in the long run than STW.

I agree.

Big props to Lux for their payout on seconds - has made a net difference of about 14 units to me in the last two weeks :thumbsu:

Shooting To Win is seriously valuable now, as is his track record breaking full bro, both by Northern Meteor. Makes me wonder how long they will race on for?

The next yearling by Listen Here will probably go for a billion dollars :drunk:

Certainly in the race at $25 for me, d dunn loves caulfield & hayes is on fire

Hahah my bad, I meant Sertorius in the Geelong Cup!

Hadn't considered Stipulates' chances in the CC, was rather hoping Bande was over the line :$. That said, I've heard everything from he was 'close to death' to having a 'light temp' so I really have no idea of his physical state. Admire Rakti was the one who's apparently working the house down.

Yeh its been confusing although he looked ok at Caulfield yesterday.
His racing style means theyll be chasing a long way out so that should be more than interesting

If the Geelong Cup is as weak as last year he will be a moral. Surely can't be as weak as that though?

Any internationals other than Lloyds new 25 million dollar mule considering it sethlad

Heavy track foiled me and Forgotten Voice... :(

Funny with Lloyd, his best horse is a $70k Inglis Ausbred by a stallion that he previously raced - but nup, gotta go after dem Euro breds.... :$

Thats why I'm starting to warm to Dandino as a great chance providing he can repeat similar form that he had here last spring. Dont think there are many better 'stayers' in the field who would enjoy a hot pace would there be?

Absolutely. These horses that settle in and go into another gear in Aus like Dandino, Mt Athos, Red Cadeaux etc. can never be dismissed. Top chance IMO.

Sea Moon?

I was looking at Dandino's form before. You would have to say it is not going as well as last year. Not sure many 8yos have won the cc either.

If it wasn't the cc I wouldn't have a bet. Will wait and see what Bande's price tells us about its health closer to the day.

I thought the same about Dandino's form until i saw this today from The Hoss:

Sounds as if he's settled in well and working well here again.
