The concept here is simple. Nominate the worst, most decisively poor individual performances as they occur. Any league, any competition.

Will there be muLtiple spudders? Will reach double figures now that Lucas Neill no longer plays in England?

This thread is only reserved for the most worthy of shit performances though.

Maxi Rodriguez. I've installed him as the clear favourite. He's never had a good game for us. Utter, utter trash - and his performance last night was most worthy of a nomination.

Good thread FWIW. This should be good.

The Spazz 11 in all its glory

Green (c)
Gohouri Distin Upson Robinson
Maxi Delap Cattermole Jovanovic
Jo Zigic

Nearly a all English backline but couldnt leave out Gohouri who has leaves more men unmarked than a blind man with a sniper rifle. Distin and Upson remind me of the "let me in here, im XXXX, im famous" type of person, except for them its "let me play, im english". Paul Robinson suffers from midget syndrome both in height and in manliness. Needs a punch

Maxi jumps on his grandmas back at home when he wants to run faster. Delap is in the process of having his contract bought out by Athletics Australia. Wait till you see him in the shotput. Cattermole waits at nearby airports during the weeks of because he misses the feeling of being sent off. Jovanovic stays on the pitch at halftime so he can make sure he knows where the ball is at all times. He wouldnt want to lose sight of it. He also gets to touch it at half time too which is nice for him

Jo hit the post 18 months ago playing for City. He watches it every night before he goes to bed wandering what could of been. Zigic will have "Atleast i was tall" on his headstone I think. 20+ mill has been wasted on him in a career. Thats 100k a cm

While Distin was poor against United he had been excellent in the previous few games. So he is still in the positive for 10/11.

Hes both. Did we all forget the calls for England to give him a go. To be fair to him he is better than Upson so its not that bad of a shout
FWIW I never recall any calls for Distin to play for England, he is not eligible and couldn't be selected if he ever expressed a desire to play for England ... which he hasn't.

Do you have a link, or has that been caught up in 9/11 censorship legislation?

Not on this computer but it was back in the days of Stuart Pearce. He was the one blowing his trumpet and saying England should try him out.

Why wouldnt he be eligible anyway? Never played for France before...

Maybe you should nominate yourself for this thread, not for the initial state but arguing the case for it rather than just admitting you got it wrong.

FWIW saying that you want to play for England (not that I can recall him doing that - what a surprise you can't find a link) doesn't make you English.

As for eligibility, quite simply he doesn't meet the criteria. Needs to be born in England, have English parents or grandparents or to have spent five years and been educated in England.
