2-1.

I'm shocked, yet happy. A gutsy, come-from-behind win against a motivated Aston Villa side. Perhaps this could be the turning point.

Never say I don't give you lot the opportunity..........<post your critical remarks below>.

Couple of well taken goals by Spurs, Robbie Keane is a class act.

Villa were ok, but I suspect both teams are in for a long season.

Postiga is rubbish.
He's on a Forlan streak in terms of taking so long to score his first goal. Difference is he's starting every game, and at least Forlan can finish. Postiga has missed some absolute sitters for a supposed 'top class' striker.

I didn't think Postiga's miss was as bad as the effort made by Taricco a few seconds before hand. He looked too scared to even try and get to the ball.

Players like Taricco and Postiga are the exact reason Spurs haven't bothered anybody for years - mediocrity at its finest.

Could Villa and Leeds both go down in the same year?

Could it be the turning point?

Im not overally concerned about the so called long season.

With Ziege, Kanoute, Davies, Redknapp all to come back, spurs will have a bit more quality in our side.

Keep the comments on Postiga coming, you will be eating your words soon enough.

A motivated Aston Villa side! Were you watching the same game?! We were very ordinary. When some of our players learn how to pass the ball we may get out of the bottom three.
Spurs i thought were the better team, but when allback scored i thought we might just steal the three points...
alas absolute **** poor defending ensured we are entrenched down the bottom.

Its going to be a long season

Well tell me how I'm meat to know what you were saying was sarcasm. When people normally do that they incorporate a smilie.

Oh & Feel free to post your clubs honours up here anyday and see how they stack up against ours.

Oh and NorthBhoy be more specific thanks, examples obviously aren't your strong point. And just so you know Apollo Creed is a fictional character player by Karl Weathers, who is real but Apollo Creed is not, hence why he couldn't be dead.

Spurs fans face it Postiga is rubbish. Just like many Villa buys in recent times. Balaban 6 Milllion pound, Crouch 4 Million pound. I've seen him enough now that he doesn't possess any attributes which will make him even mildly successful in a league such as the EPL.

Onto the game. Villa were rubbish. Spurs were slightly better than rubbish. Allback, Vassell, Barry, Johnsen and Hendrie are all B-Grade players. In saying that Villa should have clearly had a penalty and Hitz was unluck on a couple of occasions not to put one in the net.

Sorry but i fail to see how it was gutsy, you went behind behind after being the slightly more dominant side, then were gifted two goals. How does that equal a gutsy win?
Just because you came from behind doesnt automatically make it a resiliant, courageous win.

You are a graceless nerk - I don't know why I bother really.

I know that Spurs presently are crap. Ditto Villa. It's pretty bloody obvious. I was just celebrating a victory (I don't get much of a chance) and hoping to wind up some Arsenal supporters.

Forget it, let's not bother in future.

In the words of Bart Simpson- "why compete with someone who's just going to kick your butt anyway?"

You can't even use the your absolutely crap in europe excuse anymore!

Derby games....anything can happen, and usually does!

Imagine this, Spurs 0-0 Arsenal after 90 min, keane has been red carded for the prat he is. With two minutes of injury time to go Pleat [or whoeva is in charge by then] sends in Postiga for Kanoute as a last resort. Only to have Postiga bang a rocket in from 30 yrds! What a ****a.

Never say never...
