I actually thought massie was okay last week, maybe I am in a minority here. Skipworth was more or less unsighted all game, but Massie did a few good things.

Massie did play a loose man in defence for the first quarter and a bit and to be honest his giving away of untimely free kicks coast us 2 goals against Melbourne.

thats bizarre?? I looked on afl.com before I came here and thought the same thing. If he is fit SURELY he slots straight back in. Thomo and Massie don't give us much as Mattner does if he is fit (and played on a wing )

Nope. You can bring in an emergency just for the match up or conditions sake. West Coast did it against us this year when they replaced Gasper (who was named in the 18) with Rosa on the day of the game.

Sturt play North Adelaide tonight at the Adelaide Oval, if Martin Mattner doesn’t play for Sturt and travels with the side to Perth I would assume he would be a near on certainty to play.

Fremantle would be very silly not to have some strategies in place with Mattner playing as well as him not playing.

Accordiding to KG this morning, Mattner and Vince will travel to Perth as emergencies.
