Glad Wood gets another dip.

With Fraser out and pairing with Bryan he really needs to take the bull by the horns and give us a reason to play him.

Hopefully he gets plenty of game time.

Hope So because more game time for Big Wood will make him even better:thumbsu:

Good to see a few older players getting a rest. Probably O'Bree, Tarks and Prestis turn next week.

I hope to see for Friday night:

IN: Sidebottom/Barham Bryan

OUT: Fraser Maxwell

Would love to see either of Sidey of Barham debut. I think there only room in the squad for 1 though.

Also glad to see Wood still in sooner Wood gets to 60 70 games the better

these blokes get better with games

Bryan's record first up is usually really good so im sure he wont dissapoint

I hope Anthony plays back and they let Reid start as a forward

Reid could be something special but he is a forward dont turn him into something his not

We've come this far.....might as well give it our all and try to win it.

We've been playing nearly full strength teams all tournament so far, there's no point suddenly stopping this now.

I'd have liked to drop Wood after his pathetic showing last week, but that wont be happening so...

In: Sidebottom, Dawes, Bryan
Out: L Brown, Maxwell, Fraser

Toovey - Presti - O'Brien
Shaw - Brown - Clarke
Davis - Pendlebury - Thomas
Didak - Cloke - Sidebottom
Anthony - Dawes - Lockyer
Wood - O'Bree - Swan
Bryan -Beams - Reid - Cook - Johnson - Cox

Subs - McCarthy - Macaffer

You hope we take out 2 defenders and put in Sidey and Dawes? Against Essendon who have Lloyd, Lucas, Skipworth and Gumby all playing?

Ha.

There is No way Leroy will miss this game.

Skipworth is small the other three are talls.

But we still have presti (lloyd), brown (Gumby), harry (lucas), and Reid (resting ruckman)

So its the WOOD vs BRYAN show.

Ready to see the Bear take on the fairy penguin.

Surely this game has to be a battle for who would start next week in the GF and also Round 1.

At the moment, I prefer the less talented but fully committed Bryan, even though to be a top side we need 2 good ruckmen.

Just stumbled across this from the Collingwood website:

Late Change:
Out: Harry O'Brien (general soreness)
In: Tyson Goldsack

Moneybags gets a game after all.

So Harry is being Rested but that is a Huge Out

YAY now just to find a place for dick and sidebottom (god that sounds dirty)

No sign of wellingham :thumbsd:

I'd also prefer not seeing medhurst play this week,
It's not all that important, he missed a whole pre season,
Hes playing reserves this week so at least there is no real pressure on him to perform and he can take it at his own pace. No need to rush him in, we need him right for round 1

Would like to see us line-up like this:

B: Shannon Cox, Nathan Brown, Leigh Brown
HB: Jaxson Barham, Ben Reid, Martin Clarke
C: Heath Shaw, Scott Pendlebury, Leon Davis
HF: Alan Didak, Travis Cloke, Steele Sidebottom
F: Tarkyn Lockyer, Chris Dawes, Brent Macaffer
Foll: Cameron Wood, Dale Thomas, Dayne Beams

INT: John McCarthy, Dane Swan, Jack Anthony, Ryan Cook, Alan Toovey, Chris Bryan

Subs: Simon Prestigiacomo, Ben Johnson

Tyson Goldsack replace him with Cox and that would be a good team.
Harry O out Leigh brown in

Stanley *******ed again.
Apart from that some good inclusions. Odd that Steele maing the squad wasn't mentioned or trumpeted in the article. Barham's pace is a step up from Rhyce's, he is absolutely blistering , decision making and kicking through the ball are slight issues , but would like to see him get a go at the dome.

I couldn't agree more with you line up Hellfire. Very good. It's an embarassment of riches that we are able to put that side on the paddock with Rocca, Rusling, Maxwell, Fraser and Medhurst not picked.
