Infact most Carlton supports, they all have them winning 8+ games this year and a flag by 09 depite no ruckmen, a kid at CHF, goofy irish bloke in defence, midfielders with minimal to no AFL experience, many holes on the list, I could go on and on.

They might be contenders in 5-6 years time but who's to say they'll strike when the window is open, many a team do not, especially one's who "tank", they are yet to prove the theory.

I think Denis will start Setanta on Johns, and allow Setanta to use his height, pace and talent advantage to provide rebound out of defence. Thornton will take Lloyd, and Bower will take Lucas. So we have your talls pretty easily covered. Plus we have Hartlett and Lance who can play KP defensive roles if required. The Blues really have got some impressive KP defensive talent nowdays, unlike several years ago.
