I hope that Brady plays in defense (probably tagging Brown). I like the looks of that midfield and I think the structure looks like a winner if we actually take the field as is.

Sure, we may not agree with Thompson and McMahon being left out, but the first thing we ened to get right is playing people in their best positions!

A major part of Wellsy's form last week was playing out of defense! 20 metres from a contest and he didn't know whether to go forward and attack the ball or drop back in coverage. Half the time he wound up standing there in limbo!

Get the structure right, have 18 -21 guys playing at their own best level. Then you can easily see who needs to be replaced! On last week's game, you could be replacing 16 or 17 guys!

Didn't notice him but wasn't looking. Even more terrifyingly, didn't notice Brown either. Although he may have blended in with all the other silky dual sided footballing machines at Werribee today.

Leigh Brown and Leigh Adams did not take the field for Werribee.

Some other player was wearing Browns number 33 werribee jumper. Maybe Dean is trying to pull a swifty.

Personally, I'll be happy if they both play tomorrow. Adams will blitz in slippery going and Brown frees up Petrie to go back.

cheers for that TD & SM. Interesting with Adams and Brown. Agree, Adams could be a tricky customer in the wet, good skill should suit him to a tee. Would be more surprised if Brown played if the weatehr is wet, but who knows?

Interesting you mention that, Pratty showed up down at Werribee on his own and watched the game for a while.
