This pitch actually looks a lot easier to play on that the one we got, inept and brainless batting from both teams today.
Apparently, nothing wrong with the pitch. Looking at the figures, looks like a spinner's paradise.

Sri Lanka had the best opp to take the game away from England but now have let them back in the game.

The first session is vital for both teams. If Sri lanka can put another 100 runs on, it will probably be enough!

SL 5/108. leading by 233.

Swann appealing after pretty much every second ball, totally over the top.

Ed: Monty gets Chandimal, SL lead by 239

Sri Lanka should win this.

England seem to struggle every time in the sub-continent. I remember when they knocked us off in the 05 Ashes series, went to Pakistan in top form and were absolutely smashed.

2/48 - Strauss gone. Galloped up the wicket and inside edge/beach cricket shot to short midwicket.

Hang your head England Captain, a shocker.

Yeah i have england in front as well, think they will finally figure out that this isn't facing ajmal on a very difficult uae pitch.

This current sri lankan bowling lineup is very average and the pitch isn't as difficult as the batsmen made it look.

England aren't favourites IMO until they get to within 100 runs with at least 6 wickets in hand.

KP and Trott looked pretty confortable last night, but KP is just one of those players who can look all at ease and suddenly invent a way to get out. If he goes early, it might get pretty ugly for England. Sri Lanka still favourites for me. I don't rate Herath at all, but he seems to get results. His attempt at a doosra/carrom is just laughable, always drags it down and is easily picked from the bend/straightening of his arm. I think Randiv is a much better bowler, but somehow is getting next to no turn on this track.

KP, what were you thinking? Randiv causing a few problems with drop and spin, one ball left in the over and he tries to hoist it through mid-on. Meanwhile, throw-down merchant Lakmal is at the other end offering scoring opportunties.

Pretty ordinary appealing from Sri Lanka that over. Two pad-bat appeals, both catchers carry on like there's no doubt, and neither are reviewed. I know a lot of teams would appeal, but to throw the ball in the air and just celebrate and not review

On ya' bike KP.

Yet another z-grade shot from the English top order, straight down short midwicket's throat.

3/119 - SL looking dangerous.

Haven't been watching this game, but agreed with your post, then saw on cricinfo that Lakmal has figures 7-5-9-0, thats hardly pie chucking!
