Always been a glass half full type.
Richo gave them something to play for in that final quarter and they won the quarter. These are the moments, back against the wall moments, that you build a side on. They will fight the game out, loved the tackling and bumps in the final 5 minutes. They had every excuse to fold and lose by 100..... but they didn't.

Quick note going forward. We are very quick when we have overlap running and movement through the middle. Add the pressure acts in the forward line and we have the ingredients of a top 4 game plan. Simple but works. Will we have the cattle to bring this off? We shall see.

And the expectation may be a bit higher on Acres since some of you rate him so damn highly saying he will be A-grade after watching him play 9 games. I remember one time the poor bird_man got completely roasted on here because he didn't quite see it yet, although he saw some potential.

Really rated Acres in the last go really good hands all we need to see is signs and then eventually he'll bring it all together. Remember in the first half he was playing as a half forward whee Roo Bruce and Paddy were all running to the same place. Then in the last he got higher up the ground and surprise surprise he got a bit of the ball . I wish we would just give more time in the guts then on the wing or half forward flank but I saw enough in the last quarter to see a future. His last quarter is what we want to see him produce over the whole game but be patient
