What we would want is a top 5 pick. What we would get is a mid first round pick if we put him on the market.

I think if you got a pick in the 20s you would seriously consider it for Bruce.

Bruce is just getting in the way of McCartin at this stage. You need to just throw the keys to him next year, along with Membrey and some crafty smalls (that you do have) and see where McCartin can lead you. He was a pick 1 and it's time you find out if he can be 'the man' you recruited him to be. Not a player riding shotgun to a solid enough, but unspectacular, 27 year old key forward.

A pick in the early to mid 20s in a stacked draft would be a good piece of business for the Saints.

Carlisle should be traded to dogs , Bruce takes his spot
Steven to best offer for picks and players
Theirs list management well proofs in the pudding

Bring in some winners with leadership qualities

Bruce quicker and more mobile than Carlisle

I don't think you'll find many saints fans willing to let go of Billings or Acres.

The bones of a decent side are there. Without throwing baby out with the bathwater they should consider trading one or a couple of Steven, Acres, Dunstan or McCartin to secure a pick (or picks) between 12 & 30 Hanneberry would be a fantastic get, more games into Goddard, Battle, Rice, Coffield, Clark and Phillips - they could push for the 8 next year.
