Analysis Stadium deals - what, how, when - why we need a new one and the SA footy paradigm shift happening

Having to wear masks at a place where everyody is double vaxxed is like wearing 2 frangers whilst rooting your missus who's on the pill after you've had a vasectomy.
SA Health are thinking it's more like attending an orgy as an LA pornstar at the height of the AIDS epidemic with a condom that's been hanging out in your wallet for two years.

Our business is informed that over 36,000 flights are booked into SA from Vic and NSW for the week of the 23rd. COVID is gonna come thick and fast. A lot of businesses are going back to full WFH arrangements till after Christmas. Will be interesting to see where we are in Jan etc. I think the gov is working with the model that COVID will be reasonably present for some time.

214 x flights per hour 24 / 7 for a whole week

Impressive

No idea why we're keeping crowds to 35,000 double vaxxed given we're otherwise letting it rip.

If you're worried about covid spreading maybe keep the Borders shut until just before Christmas and get the vax rate up.

At least it won't be a mystery anymore in our first game next season.

I feel like opening borders and locking anti-vax idiots out of things might be the last ditch attempt at getting higher Vax numbers. You'd have to imagine the numbers is going to plateau at some point unless those people see an incentive to do so, I imagine lots will quietly go and book themselves in when they start missing out on stuff.

35,000 plus masks at a double vaxxed only venue is disappointing though - go the full hog and open it up completely, really make those anti-vax idiots feel like they're missing out on stuff.

If SA start with 75% cap on all stadiums in March and the rest of footy stadiums around Oz are at 100%, then our club again will have one hand tied behind its back compared to the rest of the comp.

Does that mean corporate box rates will only be 75% because only 75% of people are allowed in?? Same with pre game functiions the club sells?

March is election time. Will Port campaign against this? Will the crows led by an ex liberal premier campaign against this? Will the SMA? I think that is 3 nos.

The average person goes 5 or more hours between meals every day of the week - there's no need to buy food or drinks at the footy.
I bet the average person doesn't go 5 hours without a drink of water or coffee/tea at work in an office and if they are out in the warm sun, they probably have a few drink breaks. Same for the 5 hours at home, and maybe alcohol after 7pm.

I can go without food, but not a drink. That's why I usually take a couple of bottles of water with me.

Chips and beer make it more enjoyable.

Get a meal before or after, bring snacks and a driak. More of each and better quality for less. No brainer unless you are that lazy you’d rather keep us under the SMA’s thumb.

90% of people just don't give a stuff about the SMA ripping off Port. They need to drink or to eat now! Get up mid game because they cant wait until a score break, just obscure peoples view because they have to consume now!
