View from near the back of the south stand. It's steep... but my oh my that's a spectacular view.
If there's one thing DCL doesnt do it's sky shots. He's more likely to dribble one in.Would you be safe from DCL's skied efforts up there?
Will be a million times better for the attending supporter but I do miss the character of the old grounds that we've all but lost.
Yeah the close to the pitch action like Highbury (as an example) was great. Will be a million times better for the attending supporter but I do miss the character of the old grounds that we've all but lost.
Craven Cottage is a beautiful ground.Yeah the close to the pitch action like Highbury (as an example) was great.
Craven Cottage is pretty close from memory to the pitch.

I love Loftus Road as well.
There was certainly leg room issues and it's probably because I don't go every week but there was something special about that stadium that I didn't feel with the others.Loftus Road is awful!! Unless you're under 5'5 you struggle to fit into your seat.

Walking up to it you see nothing and then all of a sudden a stadium appears in the terraces. The old school feel of the stands and the surrounds. Just felt like a proper football ground to me, rather than the same soulless templated stadium everyone else seems to get now.
Plays into that whole nostalgia feeling we know and love haha.Yeah I dunno this reminds me of my mate that was sad when Cheers got renovated and lost its sticky carpets because it meant it was losing its soul. Nah mate it's just getting nicer carpets lol. Or he'll sit in the members stand at the SCG where the only food options are pies and chips and VB and Tooheys New rather than the new stand with the pizza, burger, and endless beer options because of the old school feel.
