So what BigFooty isn’t like tinder?

Do you Tinder? I've never been on those things but for when my kids hacked my facebook and thought it would be hilarious to load a back shot nude of me onto some dating app. As a lesbian.

I didn't know what was going on.

Never been on tinder. The thought of just talking to someone for 5 minutes online, then meeting irl soon after scares the hell outta me.

Whatever happened to taking your time getting to know someone? Suppose thats gone to shit, ppl are just disposable now. Its pretty depressing actually.

Not much different to meeting someone in a bar is it? Effectively you like their face and decide to have a chat, usually in a loud social space where you really have no idea about the person anyway.

It's the same thing in different packaging.

Well i wouldnt be going home with them in that instance either tho.

Ive seen guys on this site post "ah you havent ****ed in at least 3 dates move on"- Nttawwt, but its just not for me, no thanks.

I wouldn't be asking a tinderella over after 5 minutes, but the general gist of 'talk to complete stranger, decide to see complete stranger in a more one-on-one setting to see if we like each other' is pretty much the same process via tinder as it is at a bar.

Social media has changed things I think, too many distractions and its too easy to roll through people.

Recently split with my partner/bf, I won't be going anywhere near Tinder or the like it's too scary but more inclined anyway atm to replace the front fence with an eight footer and put cctv on every post.

Sorry to hear that.

But yeah i've actually met some guys thru BF. I'd estimate on average I'd speak/PM them for at least 2-3 months before meeting irl.

This app could operate the windows, the aircon and turn the engine on and off. Bit scary.

The case is believed to be a world-first for vehicle cyberstalking of this kind, where a car's technology has been used in a predatory way.

Does the remote control of the car mean that an accident could be caused ?
For example cutting the motor whilst driving, at a crucial moment...

"Police found the 38-year-old, from Nightingale Avenue, Hathern, near Loughborough, had kept a full detailed spreadsheet on his computer that contained the personal details of all of his 297 victims including their security answers, names, date of birth and addresses."

That was really interesting in how stalkers operate when their target begins to see through the facade and tries to distance. It's so insidious and what is worse imo and that I've seen before: “I started losing friends and fighting with family … They blocked me, they hung up on me, they just didn’t want to know about this anymore.”

The harm is enormous and it keeps stacking on in layers the longer it goes on for.
