Was that you and your sister sitting in front of marty at the western bulldogs game? Nicky

You must have seen me walking out of a game at AAMI one day and jump into the car, or that was one lucky guess.

Murphy's Law sez, we'll get over the Dees and simultaneously, Richo will boot 10 to hand us our second consecutive Minor Premiership.

Shirley, Welsh and Doughty will have absolute bursters on Saturday, I guarantee it.

Can someone help me out please, im doing some quick sums to see if i can just max out the c/c and come over for the weekend.

- Does the game start at 2.40 Adelaide Time?
- How long does it take to get to AAMI from the Airport (consider worst traffic senario)
- Is the game sold out or where can i get tickets?

CHEERS!!!!

If you are going to max out the C/C do it the week after? This weeks game is inconsequential as nothing is on the line, the week after is a final and a truck load more is on the line. Or even better yet wait and try and come over for the preliminary final when we win the first final.

But that’s just my line of thinking

Totally agree with what everyone has said. Its now our turn to support our club like never before. Up until the last few weeks they have given their all, so I hope everyone gets there on Saturday and cheers their lungs out all day, even if they are losing,as this is when they need it the most. Ill be there yelling as usual (support that is) driving everyone around me crazy, but at least when I leave Aami I did what I could to help get them over the line(pity other supporters there dont feel the same). Anyway Ive still got faith in the boys to play winning footy, that along with some even ump breaks (that I dont have faith in) we could still be there that last day in September. GO CROWS!!!!

That's some good luck, means you can come for the Prelim, no probs, see you there :).

Saturday, will be there. The aim is to go to 16 games this year, currently on 12, so looks like it should happen for sure :). See you's all there of the coming weeks, 3 more at AAMI, then the MCG, all aboard the Overland...

And to the backbone group, stand up and be counted.

It is now your opportunity to stand up and take charge of this injury depleted group. There is no reason why you guys (a la 97) cannot stand up and get us across the line, this week, and deep in to the final series.

Radar Reilly, I wanna see you play the game of your life. Dont be a front runner, play out of your skin WHEN THE CHIPS ARE DOWN which is now.

Step up to the plate son, you can do it.

Theres only single tickets left anyway so looks like i will have to stay at home. at least im not a ticket holder in adelaide not showing up!

Didn't end up going to the bullies game after all, but I did spot you getting into your car after game on Sun. It's a nice blue colour :D

Correct. :thumbsu:

Just heard Ben Hart on the radio.

He said the Crows won't throw a genuine shot at a flag away.

He spoke to Roo today, who is feeling better.

Ben wants to play in 2007 and thinks he will be back for the preliminary final (provided we beat Fremantle on friday night).

I agree with what has been said however I cannot get to the game as I my club is involved in finals footy.

I cannot talk for other people, but I don’t care one iota what happens Saturday (we could lose by 10 goals) against the Dees. It’s the week after that I care and am more worried about at this stage, the first final we need every Tom, **** and Harry to get behind the club and cheer like they have never cheered before.

AAMI stadium need to be an intimidating cauldron for the visiting team.

But i will still go on the weekend. :thumbsu:

Men of the Adelaide Football Club

We approach the 2006 finals in troubled times. We have a lengthy injury list including several key players. Our opponents are becoming increasingly determined, and able, to match up to our strengths and exploit any opportunities we may offer them. Our form is down, and at the end of a long season our bodies are starting to tire.

You have every reason, every excuse, to write off this season and make an early exit from the finals.

Every excuse - except - You represent the Adelaide Football Club, its history, its pride, its jumper, its members and supporters across the state and further.

Some of you may in the future have the chance to represent your Club in finals again. Some may not. But all of you have the chance this year. Here. Now.

You have the chance, and you have the responsibility, to put everything on the line and make the most of an opportunity that for many players never comes in an entire career.

Your supporters are behind you. Your supporters will cheer you every step of the way, and urge you on to efforts and achievements that perhaps you are beginning to doubt are possible.

No excuses, no ifs, no buts.

It starts now.
