Stanton isn't worth Pick 6 in a weak draft, let alone in this year's extremely strong draft. We have our own Stanton equivalent, his name is Andrew Carrazzo. Great accumulator, but questionable skills. Personally I would prefer Carrazzo because he is harder than Stanton & has very good leadership skills.

Just read a proposed trade from an Essendon supporter that suggested Stanton and Murray for Sydney's first pick...so 6 may be a little over the odds.

Would happily take him at 24 though. Put him in a midfield where he is 4-5 in the pecking order and he would tear it up. Kicks goals too.

First time I noticed him was when when I saw him running clear all by himself in the middle with the ball then he handballs it over to a guy hot in the middle of 3 opposition. I can't remember whether teaching you not to handball to people in worse positions than you was taught in primary or early high school. I thought who's that idiot they gave Hird's no.to.

So anyhow no don't want him at all. Kerr would be a yes for pick 6. This guy no for pick 666 if we had it. He wouldn't replace any of our current mids - to give up pick 6 for an ants player not a good idea.

No chance. I don't mind Stanton, but pick 6 is way over the odds. I don't want to give up pick 6, but if we do it will be in an exchange for an elite player (eg. Kerr) or a young player and pick (Dowler/Thorp and pick 16)

Stanton isn't elite and isn't worth pick 6. If we can get him cheaper then he'd be well worth considering but pick 6 would not be on the table for him.

Don't rate Stanton. Doesn't do anything that well. His strength is his endurance. Not especially fast, average kick, weak inside skills. Just an average outside mid. We have a lot better on our list. Pass.
