Hamil's ability to fulfil the trajectory of whiny teenager to wise Jedi is something I've underrated previously. Always thought he was a bit average but he's pretty good. Why didn't he break big after this?
Hate seeing Vader be so subservient to Palpatine, basically running around like an errand boy with a lightsaber...
Vader shoulda resigned after that Death Star * up.Palpatine is done with Vader
Palpatine is done with Vader
Vader shoulda resigned after that Death Star **** up.
Shocking how Vader lets the condescending campaigner get away with this s**t...
All Lords have to start off as mere altar boys. In turn, see Vader's assistants and whatnot, when he had commanded respect and earned fear, all became his errand boys and girls too. In the EU, eventually Palpatine was always plotting and pitting other wannabe Lords against Vader anyway, suspicious Vader was going to eventually overthrow him (as per the Sith "rule of two" is want to do), and also to continually test his mettle. And Vader eventually wanted to overthrow Palpatine and rule the galaxy with his own chosen underling, long before Luke was discovered.Hate seeing Vader be so subservient to Palpatine, basically running around like an errand boy with a lightsaber...

So Kenobi agrees with Palps after getting caught spinning bullshit to Luke about his father.
It all depends on your point of view.
Kenobi can go and suck a fat one with his hypocracy.
Even as a ghost he is still bullshittin.
Sad to see a young powerful wise jedi descend into a doddering old fool and finally perishing to live on as a ghost who boldly stated to vader"he will be more powerful than he could imagine"
LOL. Ghost kenobi is as weak as piss and is still trying to cover his lies.
Ooh, that would've been a much juicier sub-plot than "Vader, get me some space cookies and blue milk, bitch!"
In SW you see the s**t rolling downhill. Palpatine condescending and bitchy with Vader, ordering him around. Vader steaming under his helmet. Goes and takes it out on those beneath him in command -- how many admirals/etc he killed for failing simple tasks, how many others he bossed around with even more condescending words. Vader so agitated by Palpatine, he butchered thousands of beings across the galaxy. Living with Palpatine would've been impossible.Ooh, that would've been a much juicier sub-plot than "Vader, get me some space cookies and blue milk, bitch!"
Obi Wan is to blame too for Anakin going Dark should have not kept him on a leash so tight when he was training him.
Because Luke was such a prude, didn't take up Vader's offer."Join me and together we can rule the galaxy as father and son."
Nek minnit:
"The Emperor will show you the true nature of the Force. He is your master now."
Vader, WTAF!!!???
