In this video, the narrator talks about the Sony hack in the past, how in an email Columbia Films production manager had emailed a Sony person about the new star wars trilogy. Mentions in the email that Ep 8 and 9 will apparently focus on the story of Luke and Leia.

And some leaks from the people who were involved in the filming of certain scenes between Hammill and Ridley on an island in Ireland...revealing what the scenes were about, how that island in the film, the ruins there, is the home planet/base of the ancient Siths, and talks about how in the film details about the Sith are discussed....

More script leaks from a year ago....

So Rey is Han and Leia's daughter. Finn apparently Lando's son. Leia is the leader of the republic, like a queen. Carrie Fisher's real life daughter will play a younger Leia. There are no Jedi whatsoever, bar Luke who is in hiding. And more script details thru the video....

Kylo Ren mustn't be a Solo/Skywalker offspring if Josh Holloway is going to play a Solo offspring.

One rumor/spoiler was that Kylo Ren is actually one of three of Luke's offspring with Mara who turns to the dark side (from the expanded universe) but tweaked for the new trilogy.

And with Blake Bashoff listed as a Skywalker offspring...it's very obvious he is a Luke off-spring, similar facial features.

So Ep9 seems like Kylo Ren is one of two Luke kids, the other being Bashoff, who is good.

I reckon....

TFA will see Luke Skywalker revealed as the mysterious Sith Lord called "Uber" who is hovering thruout the film giving orders to Ren (his son), Phasma, etc. Who lives on that island in Ireland, in a secret temple. As that is rumored to be the homebase of the Siths in history. Luke is there when we first see him at the end.

OR

Ren is Luke's offspring, and the thing he is setting out to accomplish what Vader failed in, was converting Luke to the dark side, so at the end he does convert him.

The MakingStarWars/etc leaks imo....it's obvious they're promoted leaks....people get snippets of truth, like character names, sub-plot lines, but the REAL big things, and many smoking hot talking points, will be kept hidden for maximum effect when people first sit down to watch. Big shocks to hit them in the screening like when Luke finds out Vader is his father (for fans at the time). Disney/etc are smart enough and big enough to understand this new-age, social media, and use it to their advantage. They'll know all fans will still want to find spoilers and come in to their first watching of it armed with some info, false info, expectations, and THUS best way to shock them, make them gush with "whoa that was freaking awesome how {insert shock}"

----

With that in mind....everyone is thus expecting....

Kylo Ren and Keira Rey are twins or siblings born of Leia and Han. So that when people finally watch the movie, they will be shocked to learn that Ren is actually Luke's son, one of his two kids he had, that turned to the dark side, and that even Luke could be the secret Sith Lord "Uber" hovering thruout the film, giving direction to Ren. And that in future episodes, 9 in particular, we see Luke's other son played by Bashoff, is revealed to be the good son, the other one, and there's some battle again between Ren and Bashoff's character. The key thing to me is that the island in Ireland is said to be the Siths homebase in history, a hidden location. So for Luke to be ultimately found there....perhaps that's the BIG shock to end the movie, and start excitement for ep8/9....that Luke is indeed a Sith Lord. Or at least, that he gets converted to the Dark Side. And the promise that Yoda made, that there is another hope (leia) gets fulfilled. A battle between Luke and Leia and their off-spring in the upcoming ep8 and 9. Again, tying in with the Sony email leak that says Ep 8 and 9 will all be about the story of Luke and Leia.

Seems like I could be right after all.....
that Luke is possibly a Sith Lord with Kylo his apprentice if not Kylo himself

scroll ahead to the video interview done 10 years ago, where Hamill and JJ Abrams discuss what happens of Luke Skywalker....

The Reasons Why Kylo Ren Could Be Luke Skywalker, and Why He's Not

SPOILER ALERT WARNING! The rumor that Luke Skywalker is Kylo Ren has been circulating over the internet for the past few days. Yes, it was announced that Adam Driver will be Kylo Ren, but there are some interesting theories regarding that as well. We also have our own theory you can read at the end.

First lets start with reasons why Luke Skywalker wouldn’t be Kylo Ren.

- Kylo Ren is already confirmed to be played by Adam Driver.

- We have pictures of Adam Driver as Kylo Ren.

- In the movie trailer, Kylo Ren’s body shape looks just like Adam Driver and NOT Mark Hamill.

- It would be very unrealistic for an old Luke Skywalker/Mark Hamill to be CGI/edited onto a lean Kylo Ren body shape.

- Adam Driver has done multiple interviews with his fellow Star Wars cast to promote The Force Awakens.

Pictured Above: Adam Driver as Kylo Ren in a Vanity FairPhotoshoot. Photo by Annie Leibovitz

Now that we know the reason’s why Luke wouldn’t be Kylo, lets look at some reasons why people think otherwise.

Since the official Star Wars official poster was revealed, there was one blaring omission. Where is Luke Skywalker?

As we can see, many minor characters are pictured, but not Luke Skywalker. This is intriguing because Luke narrates one of the teaser trailers, and we see a brief scene where Luke’s hand appears to be resting on R2-D2. Mark Hamill is also the second credit for actors on the poster. This begs the question, why do we see R2-D2 on the poster and not Luke Skywalker?

If we go to StarWars.com and look for character information, Luke Skywalker is not included. We do, however, see Kylo Ren pictured with the description, “A dark warrior strong with the Force, Kylo Ren commands First Order missions with a temper as fiery as his unconventional lightsaber.”

Other details from the teasers have also compelled conspirators to believe Kylo Ren is Luke Skywalker. The way Ren picks up and admires Vader’s helmet as he expresses his desire to finish what the iconic villain started, makes people speculate that he's Luke. There is also the fact that we never see Luke’s face in the trailers. We see Luke’s hand, but never his face. Could it be because he is Ren?

In an amazing coincidence, the A.V. Club managed to dig up a 10-year-old interview where Mark Hamill is literally speaking with J.J. Abrams about how he envisions Luke turning to the Dark Side and killing a major character, like Han Solo. Skip ahead to the 11:52 mark in the video below to see Hamill’s comments:

After hearing Hamill's thoughts about Luke's possible fate, is it so hard to imagine that J.J. would get on board with Hamill’s thoughts on Luke, and convert him to the Dark Side of the Force? Wouldn’t that also explain the lack of Luke in the trailer? Perhaps his outfit and face would give away a hidden plot point with the character?

Now, many conspiracy theorists, who believe Ren is Luke, have acknowledged that Adam Driver was “officially” cast for the part of Kylo Ren. Some people have said that this is merely a rouse, or could be a body actor, like David Prowse was for Darth Vader. Revealing that Kylo is played by Hamill would be too huge a plot twist to reveal before the movie came out, so in order to keep it a secret, could they have named Driver to the part? It has also been mentioned that J.J. has tricked viewers in the past in order to stop spoilers. When he cast Benedict Cumberbatch as Khan for Star Trek, the character was called John Harrison for the promotional materials.

So there you have it. The pros and cons of the Kylo Ren/Luke Skywalker theory.

With all the evidence analyzed, here's our verdict:

Although it's puzzling that Skywalker is missing from the poster, not fully revealed in the trailer, and has compelling reasons to join the Dark Side, we believe that Skywalker is NOT Kylo Ren. The main reason is Kylo’s body shape doesn’t look at all like the old Jedi, and looks just like Adam Driver, who was cast for the part. If Kylo was secretly Luke, why not hire a body type that resembles Hamill? It seems like they would be going way overboard to CGI Luke’s face onto a skinnier Driver like body.

So what is our theory? It is interesting that Luke is largely ignored so far in the promotional material. My bet is that there is strong potential for Luke to be on the Dark Side. He may be wearing an outfit and wielding a lightsaber that doesn’t resemble the goody two-shoes from episode Episode IV, which could unveil a huge plot twist.

Another interesting bit during the interview is when Hamill told J.J. Abrams that he imagined Luke killing Han Solo or another major character. In an exclusive report earlier this year, we were tipped off by an actor that either Han Solo or Chewbacca dies. This seems to be confirmed in the trailer, as Rey is crying profusely over another character, which many believe to be Chewbacca and/or Han's jacket. We also catch a glimpse of Leia looking highly distressed with Han Solo.

Could Luke Skywalker kill Chewbacca and/or Han? It's entirely possible, but there is no way to be certain until the movie is released.

It would definitely make an interesting plot point if Luke becomes a Palpatine-like character in the film, playing the strings of Kylo Ren, and potentially setting himself up to be the major antagonist of Episode VIII, where he and Poe are the only confirmed characters according to IMDB.

Regarding the screenshot of Rey crying over a dead body....To me, that doesnt look like fur, but a jacket, the same as worn by Solo in the screenshot of him and a sad Leia hugging. Also, it may not be a dead body. It could be someone like Finn, Chewbacca or Solo severely injured...but not fatally so.

Son of Luke (kylo), daughter of Leia (rey), son of lando (finn)....continuing the saga of the original by handing the torch over to the kids of the original stars.

APPARENTLY that's the rumor.

The Star Wars fan site Making Star Wars has tracked every step of the production process on J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The site has broken a large number of spoilery facts, leaning on sources close to the production. They admit that many need to be taken with a grain of salt, but over time, several of the "rumors" they have reported have been revealed as fact (or, as close to fact as we can actually get before seeing the actual movie in December). The latest one that they dropped, though… it’s massive. You might not want to hear this.

Are you ready? Many of us have heard that Han Solo (Harrison Ford) will die in J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens. For starters, Ford famously begged George Lucas to kill the character off during the original trilogy, but was told Han had to stick around to complete his arc with Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher). Well, from what we hear, the nerfherder finally is going to get his way. Making Star Wars reports that Han Solo will be killed in The Force Awakens, and elaborates to say that the character of Kylo Renn (presumably played by Adam Driver) will be the one who murders the classic movie hero. They even have details about how it will happen, saying that the scene takes place "on the ramparts of The Evil Castle," and that Han is in the scene with Chewbacca, Finn, Rey and the rolling robot, BB-8. Solo allegedly confronts Renn in an attempt to buy time for the others to escape. In this way, the site notes that it’s reminiscent of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s death in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.

This line really stands out from the report.

Han Solo is never in a scene after this. Those are the facts.

If Abrams truly kills of Han Solo, that is a ballsy decision that could enrage the Star Wars community, unless it’s handled in an heroic, legendary fashion. The thing about Han Solo is that he’s an iconic character in this universe. But Harrison Ford is long past the days when he could leap around the galaxy like an action star, and bringing him back for Episodes 8 and 9 seems like it would have been a stretch. At the moment, this is a rumor, but it comes from a trusted site, and gels with things we have been hearing for a while. Do you believe it? And is it the right decision to make with this legendary character?

We recently gathered a couple of interesting tidbits from two of our readers, both of which are non-US residents that claim to know someone involved in foreign audio dubbing for the upcoming film.

Rumor #1:

I have a friend who’s an actor. He was approached by his agency and took part in a casting for dubbing of The Force Awakens. Obviously, he had to sign an NDA. The scene was blacked out and he could only see the dubbed character’s head. He was trying to get a dark character’s part.

He only saw a brief scene (again, it was a casting) but from what he saw, he told me that the dark character might, for the first time ever, switch sides to join the light side. He said that it might happen, but the intent wasn’t entirely clear. I’m sure they do those castings in the most confusing ways.

Rumor #2:

I know someone who works in the ****** media (dubbing) who assured me that there was indeed a scene with Yoda in The Force Awakens.

As always, take this along with your daily dose of salt, but if these rumors turn out to be true, it could mean big things for the sequel trilogy.

Could one of the villains change allegiances in The Force Awakens? If so, who would it be? Captain Phasma? Kylo Ren? General Hux? Thematically, it seems more likely that of the three, Kylo Ren would be the most likely to turn, as he is definitely a Force user and the film’s most prominent villain.

We already have one trilogy devoted to a character’s descent into darkness and another devoted to his redemption. What we haven’t seen is an evil character turn to the light and then go on to be a true hero of the saga. This idea would also call back to the Legends story of Darth Revan (below), a Jedi who took a brief turn to the dark side before his eventual redemption back to the light. The fact that Kylo Ren’s costume is very similar to Revan’s has also long been noted by fans.

It should also be noted, however, that the marketing has focused on Kylo Ren as the main villain in the film. On top of that, he is still an antagonist in what is most likely the film’s climax on Starkiller Base. This doesn’t seem to lend much time for him to have a sudden change of heart. Still, it’s possible, but it seems more likely that if he switches his allegiance that it will happen in a later film.

As for the Yoda rumor, we have long heard rumors of his return to the saga, and his inclusion in the story would make a lot of sense in my opinion. One of our staff members was also told by a connection at one time to expect a Force ghost Yoda in the film. We know that Frank Oz recently returned briefly to the Star Wars universe to voice Yoda in a season 1 episode of Star Wars: Rebels. He also stated that he would love to voice Yoda again in future Star Wars projects.

I think a return of Yoda would be fantastic. His appearance in the film could be so much more than fan service. The implications of Yoda having communicated with Luke for the past 30 years is staggering. Many speculate that Luke will be a Jedi of amazing power in TFA. In our recent reader poll, 44% said he will be wise and powerful like Yoda (the most popular answer), and 29% said he will basically be a Force god (second most popular answer).

How is this possible with only a short time of hands on Jedi training with Obi-Wan and Yoda? Well, holocrons aside, this ongoing one-on-one interaction between Luke and Yoda would enable us to see a Luke in TFA whose power is on par with and perhaps even exceeds the Jedi of old.

  • Luke is in hiding for much of The Force Awakens (though he apparently had time to train apprentices beforehand, so he has not been gone for a full 20-30 years as some reports suggested). He is guarding the tomb of a Sith Lord from those who wish to unlock it in order to to learn his secrets – the influence of the Dark Side there has left him unstable when we first meet him, but he has not turned.
  • Kylo Ren is trying to gain access to this tomb (which he knows how to open), and he is searching for important Force artifacts relating to the Force in order to open it. Part of the reason why he chases after Rey is because he believes that she might have the key in question – and he’s right. Her lightsaber’s crystal is the key to opening the tomb, which is described as a “Pandora’s box” of sorts.
  • Domhnall Gleeson’s role in the movie establishes him as the son of a “huge character” (likely one we’ve met before) and was a former Rebel leader before defecting to the Empire. His reason for defecting was that he discovered that the Rebels were secretly constructing a superweapon to combat the Empire. While he’s officially allied with the Empire, the reality is that he’s playing both sides in order to destroy any superweapons that either side possesses while also keeping on Finn’s trail, effectively making him an anti-hero.
