What if like that guy concluded tho.....Kylo is really trying to bring down Snoke, and the only way he can do it is by fully committing to the dark side, having Snoke convinced he has. Maybe Snoke corrupted him and he knows it (like Han told him on the bridge). Maybe Daisy is the one who turns to evil? She did apparently use the dark side when beating Kylo, and had Snoke in her head telling her to kill Kylo (the novel says this).
Do you have that novel excerpt, l haven't heard that, Snoke channeling his inner palpatine.

Daisy is the female Luke skywalker trapped on mos isley. kylo is mentally weak like annikin, thats why he cant kill FAMIlY.

Excerpt from the novel...

He was up again in an instant, but not in time to fully deflect a following blow from Rey’s weapon. He succeeded in blocking it, but he still took the full force of the strike against the haft of his own lightsaber. The weapon went flying into the snow. Unarmed, he raised a hand and utilized the Force to fend off one slashing blow after another, until finally her fury penetrated his remaining defenses. Taking a glancing blow to the head and chest, he went down, a prominent burn slashed across his face. Weakened, he reached out toward his lightsaber, trying to draw it to him. One downward cut, she saw. One quick, final strike, and she could kill him. The landing lights of a shuttle appeared in the distance, coming over the trees in her direction. She had to make a decision, now. Kill him, a voice inside her head said. It was amorphous, unidentifiable, raw. Pure vengeful emotion. So easy, she told herself. So quick. She recoiled from it. From the dark side.

I'm tempted to give Episode 2 another go, the Star Wars I have watched the least, to see if there are any subtleties or nuances in the Ani - Obi relationship that I've forgotten.

I've got a bad feeling about this.
Why torture yourself so?

It's not just me interpreting that bridge scene in the context I saw it.
I really love that line of thinking but I don't think it's true... ren already mentions that snoke could sense when he had feelings of being "seduced by the light" just after he tells him the droid is with Solo so I think unless it was actually him with the kill Snoke wouldn't call him to finish his training.

But of course that could be a red herring and he's just after Ren to punish him but either way i think Snoke would know if Ren didn't actually do it himself - which I think Ren would realise meaning any potential ruse would be pointless

“I fell in love immediately with Daisy Ridley,” Williams said of the actress at the center of the new film. “She is just a superstar born.”

Williams introduces the young, resourceful scavenger with delicate and vulnerable instruments (flute, piano and the pixieish chimes of a celeste), which are juxtaposed against the enormity of her galactic backdrop. The chords in Rey’s theme are purposefully related to Williams’ well-known Force theme. (He interweaves the two during the end credits.)

It’s an interesting challenge with her,” he said, “because it doesn’t suggest a love theme in any way. It suggests a female adventurer, but with great strength. She’s a fighter, she’s infused with the Force, and it needed to be something that was strong but thoughtful.”

Plus, Snoke appears to be an alternative version of palpatine, so would see through any plots, unless it involves kylo's son;).

Just to run with the Plagueis theory, why Han/Leia know Snoke, why Kylo seems to be protecting Rey, and why Rey was left on Jakku, and why that Pablo dude has said Rey was never at Luke's academy.....

Plagueis created Anakin Skywalker. In order to bring down Sidious, who had attempted to kill him. When Vader did so, balance was restored. Now Plagueis can return from the shadows. But with Anakin's offspring now older and strong in the force, Plagueis attempted to seize control of them, of Luke especially, and thwart him from creating more Jedi. When Kylo was old enough, Plagueis saw in him that same Vader potential. Needed him to bring down Luke, to fulfill the prophecy again, the circle repeats, thru the Knights of Ren. Plagueis has the whole Skywalker family under his grip. Why Han/Leia know about Snoke (if he's Plagueis). He's tortured the Skywalker family for decades. Used them for their power for his own gains. The family Skywalker wants out of this wretched circle. Luke, Leia, Han, Kylo, they all want to protect Rey from Plagueis. Keep her hidden from him. So an elaborate complicated complex mess is in place. Where Kylo is really heading for redemption, really out to fulfill the prophecy again, to kill of Plagueis but has to do it thru so much sacrifice himself....conferting to the dark side, killing so many, killing his own father tho he can't bring himself to do it, all to get closer to Snoke and finish his training, learning everything there is to be learned, finding his weaknesses so he can be finally and utterly destroyed to free the Skywalker family from his grip. But Rey getting older now, and Snoke out to destroy Luke, it's sped things along. Rey is in danger now, with Snoke having cottoned on to her, and her using the dark side to defeat Kylo.

All good points, but the prophecy was that Anakin will destroy the sith and he did. Snoke may not be sith as evidenced by the fact he calls his dark side users/supporters the knights of ren. Plagieus was an old school sith, unless he renounced his sith teachings or inhabited a clone human body like sidious did in EU, Snoke isn't plagieus, as cool as that'll be.
